We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused team member to join the SAP North America Cybersecurity and Compliance Advisory team as a Cybersecurity and Compliance Advisor.

The objective of the North America Cybersecurity and Compliance Advisory team is to drive Strategy, Planning and Roadmap jointly with our customers on security, privacy, and compliance topics based on their business strategy. This team supports the execution of Go-To-Market activities, advises strategic and selected key customers, and acts as a trusted advisor on security, privacy, and compliance topics to help customers become best run and secure businesses in their industry. This is supported by a focus on thought leadership and ‘connecting the dots’ across the broad SAP Solution Portfolio and 3rd party solutions.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

Security, privacy, and compliance is of paramount importance to our customers when investing in business applications, platforms and infrastructure in the Cloud.

The successful applicant will support sales and customer engagement teams, working to build trust with customers and helping them with their security, privacy, and compliance needs. The following are the key tasks required of this role:

  1. Serve as an advisor to key technology and business stakeholders on security, privacy, and compliance topics, establishing trust-based relationships through active engagement and collaboration.
  2. Lead customer discussions, presentations, and workshops on SAP’s security, privacy, and compliance standards for both cloud and hybrid solutions.
  3. Work closely with internal sales, development, and corporate security teams to act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert.
  4. Facilitate responses to customer and partner questions, questionnaires, and risk assessments on security, privacy, and compliance topics.
  5. Apply and communicate comprehensive knowledge of relevant global and US security and privacy regulations and frameworks.
  6. Advise customers on security, privacy, and compliance topics around SAP Cloud, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business Technology Platform, and SAP Security and GRC Solutions.
  7. Educate SAP customers, partners, and personnel on important security, privacy, and compliance features of SAP Cloud through regular interaction and creation of scalable digital assets

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Executive Presence – Must have business communication skills, comfortable presenting to C-level executives, ability to clearly articulate SAP’s security strategy.
  • Cloud Competence – Strong working knowledge of SaaS and PaaS security and compliance considerations of cloud, on-premise and hybrid environments.
  • Lifelong Learner – Passion for self-development to gain in-depth understanding of the SAP security strategy and solution portfolio, regulatory requirements, industry trends, and executive presence.
  • SAP Community Involvement – Passion for sharing with your peers and customers via knowledge sharing (industry specific events, user groups, SAP insider, TechEd, SAPPHIRE).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline required.

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Significant experience in cyber security or related technical domains.
  • Broad knowledge of SAP solutions across the portfolio preferred.
  • CISSP or CCSP certification preferred.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 172900 - 294000(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
