The development center of SAP in Bulgaria plays a key role in the defining and developing of the SAP Business Technology Platform. What you'll do:

SAP Database Management Systems (DBMS) are the backbone of business-critical applications. Our team is dedicated to implementing innovative features for SAP HANA Core and providing top-notch maintenance for the SAP MaxDB/liveCache. As a valued member of our team, you will enhance the code base and introduce new database functionalities. You will tackle critical issues faced by both internal and external customers, uncover root causes, and devise effective solutions. In addition to coding enhancements, you will collaborate with SAP Development and Technical Support colleagues to resolve essential business issues. As a Senior Developer, you will thrive in this business-critical area, taking ownership of your results and enjoying teamwork.

What you bring:

Your remarkable programming skills, especially in C++, are essential for this position. Proficiency in Perl, Python, and SQL, along with experience in relational database management systems (RDBMS), will make you stand out. Your ability to develop and sustain multithreaded environments across Unix, Linux, and Microsoft Windows Server operating systems, combined with your expertise in analyzing and resolving complex issues, makes you a perfect candidate for this role.

Meet your team:

The SAP MaxDB/liveCache team is part of the HANA Database team at SAP. The team is expanding with a new group of developers based in Sofia. It is involved in SAP HANA database core development and maintains over 25,000 MaxDB/liveCache installations. The team works on projects that advance database technology. Joining this team involves addressing complex challenges and contributing to the development of future database solutions.
