PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

SAP Integrated Business Planning (SAP IBP) is a cloud-based solution that empowers companies to swiftly respond to customer demands and expectations. It efficiently manages changes and shortages in the supply chain by generating short- to mid-term supply plans based on prioritized and categorized demand, such as orders and forecasts.

As a member of an empowered Scrum team of developers, your focus will be on supply functions within SAP IBP. Domain knowledge in areas such as Supply Chain, ERP Production Planning, or Transportation Load Builder is advantageous, along with a willingness to learn about business processes. Collaboration and a commitment to software quality and test automation are essential when working within the Scrum team.

The primary technologies used include ABAP, HANA, SQL, and AMDP, with Fiori being an advantage. The ever-evolving technologies and system environments require your adaptability. Teamwork and collaboration with others are key components of your daily activities.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based applications for Supply Chain Planning using ABAP and HANA.
  • Collaborate with architects, product managers, and team members to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Ensure code quality, scalability, and performance through best practices and code reviews.
  • Contribute to continuous integration and delivery pipelines, fostering a DevOps mindset in the team.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in ABAP, SQL, and experience with HANA-based development.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Analytical thinking, problem-solving attitude, and good communication skills.
  • Interest in technology and eagerness to learn and apply new skills
  • Supply Chain or ERP Production Planning related business knowledge

WORK EXPERIENCE

5 years+ of experience in software development in the related field. Experience with cloud applications and working in agile teams.
