What you’ll do

  • Support RISE with SAP migration and modernization end to end projects.
  • Support customers in cloud migrations (lift and shift), upgrades and S/4HANA adoption through the 3 transition paths.
  • Strong consulting skills to address customer requirements from the technical PoV.
  • Cloud mindset with hyperscaler competencies and experience.
  • Capable of defining IT-governance, strategies, IT-architecture and transformation maps considering hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
  • Support for presales, sales solution proposals, bid management with Client Partners and Account Executives showing business acumen.
  • Act as a coach and mentors colleagues, customers and partners on SAP Cloud Technologies.
  • Take responsibility as a sub project lead or team lead.
  • Act as community lead, stream lead or topic owner within an internal community.

Technical Skills

  • Technical migration, S/4HANA system conversion and upgrade planning & execution experience.
  • SAP Basis Netweaver knowledge and hands on experience on installations, upgrades, OS/DB Migrations & unicode conversions.
  • Hyperscaler (Azure, AWS or GCP) experience.
  • Experience in performance tuning, system copies, user management, application security, authentication, sizing, scoping, landscape strategy, HANA HA & DR strategy, without supervision at transaction level.
  • Fluent in Linux operating system and HANA database administration.
  • Stays abreast with S/4HANA innovations and uses this knowledge to drive and promote the RISE with SAP strategy.
  • Knowledge in SAP Activate and RISE with SAP methodology.
  • S/4HANA & hyperscaler certifications.
  • Knowledge in SAP Solution Manager or Cloud ALM.
  • RISE with SAP experience.
  • Experience in SAP BTP administration.
  • Expertise on developing and reviewing architecture plans.
  • Enterprise Architecture knowledge and experience are a plus.

What you bring:

  • 12+ years experience in technology solutions with 8+ years in consulting
  • 6+ hands-on full implementations cycles on SAP S/4HANA, upgrades or technical migrations
  • Technical Architecture, technical project management or leadership experience.
  • Strong customer and quality focus.
  • Proactive in learning and highly self-motivated.
  • University degree (master degree is a plus).

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 151900 - 258300(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
