SAP NS2 Senior Recruiter - Virtual
SAP is the global market leader for business software and related services, and SAP National Security Services Inc.® (SAP NS2®) is an independent U.S. subsidiary, offering SAP solutions with specialized levels of security and support to meet the requirements of U.S. national security and critical infrastructure customers.
This position requires access to customer data. Must be a U.S. citizen; SAP NS2 does not offer Visa sponsorships for this role. All internals must have manager’s approval to transfer.
Position Overview
SAP NS2 is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and technically adept Senior Technical Recruiter to join our dynamic recruiting team. In this role, you will partner closely with hiring managers to build and sustain a high-quality pipeline of technical and corporate talent, with a strong emphasis on roles supporting national security and intelligence missions.
You will own the full recruitment lifecycle for your assigned business areas, delivering strategic talent acquisition support, exceptional stakeholder management, and proactive talent community engagement. Experience recruiting for positions requiring security clearances is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
Full Life-Cycle Recruitment
- Lead the end-to-end recruiting process, from intake and sourcing through offer negotiation and onboarding.
- Manage an active requisition load, ensuring timely, high-quality candidate delivery.
Strategic Talent Acquisition
- Partner with hiring managers to craft compelling job descriptions and define effective screening criteria.
- Post and manage requisitions across the NS2 career site, intelligence community job boards, and other relevant platforms.
- Leverage advanced sourcing strategies including ATS tools, Boolean search, social platforms, referrals, and industry networking.
- Build and maintain a diverse, engaged pipeline of both active and passive candidates.
Candidate & Client Engagement
- Conduct in-depth candidate assessments to evaluate technical expertise, cultural alignment, and motivation.
- Present qualified candidates, coordinate interviews, and drive timely feedback loops.
- Lead offer negotiations, prepare and extend offers, and ensure a seamless candidate experience through onboarding.
- Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing insights on market trends, talent availability, and hiring best practices.
Employment Branding & Compliance
- Support and enhance NS2’s employment brand across social media and professional platforms.
- Stay current on employment laws, OFCCP requirements, and recruiting best practices.
Intelligence & Clearance Recruiting
- Recruit for intelligence programs and roles requiring high-level security clearances (up to Polygraph).
- Maintain strict confidentiality and full compliance with all security protocols.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 7–8+ years of proven success in full life-cycle technical recruiting, preferably within federal, defense, or intelligence environments.
- Based on the East Coast with a preference to proximity to the Herndon, VA office.
- Strong expertise in offer negotiation, labor laws, OFCCP compliance, and market trends.
- Highly motivated, results-driven, and customer-focused.
- Advanced sourcing capabilities, including Boolean search and passive candidate engagement.
- Excellent communication, sales, and relationship-building skills.
- Creative, solutions-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% for team events and meetings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience recruiting for intelligence programs or roles requiring security clearances (TS/SCI, Polygraph, etc.).
- Familiarity with the unique hiring requirements of national security and critical infrastructure environments.
- Located within proximity to the Herndon, VA office

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted annual combined range for this position is 100000-216000USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
