Work Schedule: 9 AM - 5 PM EST | 40 hrs/wk | 1-3 days in office I Up to 30% travel

The BTP Specialist position within the NS2 Center of Expertise (CoE) focused on developing expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) to support the CoE's mission of ensuring optimal performance, availability, and smooth operations of SAP solutions and enterprise architecture. This role involves assisting in the delivery of services to NS2 customers and the NS2 Cloud Organization, with an emphasis on optimizing technical architecture and business processes through innovation and best practices.

As part of a team of application and technology SMEs, the specialist will contribute to support all SAP deployments, including on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments, while building proficiency in SAP BTP to enable service delivery, proof-of-concept (POC) development, and innovation services. This position requires collaboration with experienced team members to provide solution, product, and technology expertise, including contributions to CQC report delivery for NS2 Cloud Customers.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of SAP BTP-related services including migration planning, upgrade preparation, and integration validation.
• Assist with testing new SAP innovations such as real-time integrations, embedded analytics, and automation tools.
• Contribute to customer support efforts including troubleshooting, upgrade testing, and validation activities
• Participate in training sessions focused on BTP development models, lifecycle management, process automation, and integration tools.
• Support performance optimization, security workshops, and analytics enablement efforts.
• Collaborate closely with CoE team members to understand customer needs and contribute to delivering best practice recommendations.
• Engage in knowledge-sharing sessions and build competencies that support long-term specialization in SAP BTP.

Work Experience

Required

• Internship, coursework, or hands-on academic project experience in software development, enterprise systems, or IT support.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar enterprise platforms through courses, labs, or internships.
• Basic understanding of core business processes such as finance, supply chain, or analytics.
• Exposure to at least one development or scripting language (ABAP, JavaScript/UI5, CDS, or similar).
• Foundational understanding of cloud computing concepts (SAP BTP, AWS, Azure, or similar environments).
• Awareness of data privacy and security considerations.

Education and Qualification / Skills and Competencies

• U.S. Citizenship required
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced technical environment.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving interest.
• Motivation to grow into a subject matter expert in SAP BTP.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 63200 - 140600 (USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
