Job Description

What you'll build

The SAP Internship Experience Program (iXp) is SAP's global, strategic, paid internship that gives university students the opportunity to find purpose in their careers. You'll join a team working on live priorities, gain cross-functional exposure, and deliver real goals — guided by experienced mentors.

As Strategy & Transformation iXp Intern (f/m/d) – Strategic Project Management Officer, you will work directly with the Head of MEE Strategy & Transformation on high-priority strategic initiatives. You'll take ownership of projects, support decision-making through structured analysis and executive communication, and drive initiatives from concept to execution.

This is a six-month internship based in Walldorf, starting January 2027, with the possibility to continue as a working student.

Your Responsibilities

  • Drive cross-functional strategic and operational initiatives from problem structuring to execution, ensuring stakeholder alignment
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to generate actionable insights on strategy, business performance, and go-to-market topics
  • Develop and present executive-ready analyses and recommendations for senior leadership
  • Coordinate executive governance, including steering committees, strategic planning forums, and transformation progress tracking

What you bring

We’re looking for someone who takes the initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

  • Currently enrolled in an advanced Bachelor's or Master's degree program
  • Previous experience in consulting, strategy, sales, or project management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to leverage AI for daily workflows and new use cases
  • Commitment to high-quality delivery in a fast-paced environment
  • Clear, structured communication with confidence engaging senior stakeholders
  • Proactive mindset and strong sense of ownership
  • Strong interest in the software industry and its business models
  • Fluency in English and German

Where you belong

The MEE Strategy & Transformation team is part of SAP's Strategy & Operations Board Area. We drive strategic initiatives and transformation programs across Middle and Eastern Europe, working closely with regional senior leadership to shape go-to-market priorities, define the operating model, and steer the transformation agenda. Our team brings together diverse backgrounds in consulting, strategy, sales, and services.

During your internship you will be part of SAP Next Gen, a global network of early career talent connected through events, peer learning, and shared ambition. Your internship is a launchpad built on real skills and lasting connections.
