Meet your Team
The SAP Mission Control Center is a Global organization responsible for delivering a wide range of support offerings as a back-office organization at SAP. It quickly addresses critical situations and emergencies, delivering preventive support engagements with a continuous improvement approach as part of its support portfolio.
The SAP MCC LAC Intern will assist the support team in resolving escalated customer issues, implementing preventive measures to reduce recurring incidents, and contributing to strategic projects that enhance internal customer experience and operational performance, while also handling administrative tasks. The role requires intellectual curiosity, strong problem-solving skills, and a willingness to experiment with AI and automation to improve support processes.
What you'll do
Postion title: SAP MCC iXp Intern - Solution Support Engineer
Location: São Leopoldo, Brazil
Expected start date: January, 2026
- Collaborate with the SAP teams to effectively de-escalate critical customer situations, coordinating the diagnosis and resolution of escalated technical issues across SAP solutions.
- Continuous learning and driving your own development goals, focused on SAP solutions, methodologies, and technical root cause analysis, achieving technical proficiency.
- Communicate status, technical findings, and recommendations to customers and internal stakeholders in a professional and timely manner, adhering to global standards.
- Contribute to preventive support efforts by identifying recurring problems or patterns that may affect multiple customers, and actively contribute to initiatives.
- Support and contribute to strategic projects that streamline workflows, improve service delivery, and measure impact. Evaluating, piloting, and helping to integrate AI and automation tools (e.g., ticket triage, knowledge management, automated responses) to increase efficiency and consistency in support operations.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the MCC, including developing meeting minutes, organizing meetings, and maintaining operational procedures and quality checks.
What you bring:
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities; demonstrated curiosity and an eagerness to learn new tools and methods.
- Interest in applying AI or automation to real-world support problems (for example, identification of use-cases, scripting small automations or using AI APIs).
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, customer-focused team.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities.
- Experience with one or more scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, ABAP) is a plus.
- Familiarity with AI concepts, APIs, or automation platforms, and practical curiosity about how to apply them in support workflows.
- Prior experience in IT helpdesk, technical support, or escalation handling is a plus.
- Exposure to ticketing systems, version control (e.g., Git), or IT service management tools.
- Experience contributing to process-improvement or project-management initiatives.
