What You’ll Build

The SAP Internship Experience Program is SAP’s global, strategic, paid internship program that provides university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers. This is more than an internship; it’s the foundation for a career built on connection, creativity, and impact.

Position title: SAP Marketing iXp Intern (f/m/d) – Communications for Global Sponsorships

Location: Walldorf, Germany

  • Support operational cross-Global Sponsorships projects and key sources
  • Support digital and social media strategy and execution in collaboration with SAP Global Social Media team
  • Support the syndication of Global sponsorships stories across internal channels
  • Work with the Storytelling lead to align digital activations into the overall activation plan and the use of contractual assets
  • Support with Global Sponsorships documentation, including reporting
  • Video / digital asset creation & editing
  • Manage employee engagement on internal channels
  • Contribute content to various Global Sponsorships reporting & newsletter templates
  • Streamline cross-partner projects across the global sponsorships team

Education:

  • Preferred fields of study: Business Administration, Sports & Entertainment, Marketing, Communications, and related fields – but MUST have the ability to support this role full-time

Skills / Competencies:

  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel. Strong MS PowerPoint is a must
  • Familiar with video editing and related tools (Adobe Suite, Canva)
  • Active knowledge of Social Media channels: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, Tik-Tok, Sprinklr
  • Language skills: Fluent in English, German is a plus, but not required
  • Soft skills: Organized, self-starter, detail-driven, responsive, and able to multi-task promptly, strong interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate, strong work ethic and positive attitude, ability to learn quickly be proactive, collect and synthesize information easily
  • Coming to the office in Walldorf is required (2-3 times a week)

The Global Sponsorships Team provides the necessary tools for the successful planning and implementation of various sponsorships. One of the main goals of the SAP Sponsorships team is to showcase our products in various environments and industries, such as the sports Industry. In addition, the sponsorship activities bring the SAP software close to the end users, e.g., in a sports club, directly to the fans. And, obviously, sponsorships provide an excellent platform to strengthen SAP’s brand, given their huge reach in media coverage. Within our highly motivated team, we practice a trust-based working model.
