What you’ll build
The SAP Internship Experience Program is SAP’s global, strategic, paid internship program that provides university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers. This is more than an internship, it’s the foundation for a career built on connection, creativity, and impact.
Position title: SAP iXp Intern - User Experience Designer
Location: Montreal
Expected start date to end date: May 2026 – August 2026
- Help create end-to-end prototypes at various levels of fidelity and test them with external facing users.
- Support user research efforts with recruiting participants, helping with research plans, analysis and synthesis, maintenance of research documentation.
- Collaborate with UX Designers, Product Managers, and other team members to complete UX research, user flows, wireframes, and prototypes in a timely manner to meet deadlines.
- Assist team in Design Thinking workshops, helping with various deliverables such as customer journey maps, storyboards and gathering feedback on prototypes from customers.
- Apply our design language and design systems to new or existing prototypes.
What you’ll bring

- Pursuing or a recent graduate of a college degree program, our program can hire within 6 months after graduation.
- Ability to show examples of your work in the interview process.
- Experience with modern design tools such as Figma and/or Sketch
- Hands-on attitude and be proactive with verbal and written communication.
- Solid organizational and analytical skills
- Basic understanding of user experience design, user research and synthesis methodologies
- Proactive self-starter that can navigate through ambiguity

Commerce is hiring a User Experience Designer Intern to help create cloud native enterprise products, working closely with the team in Montreal, Canada, Newport Beach, California and Germany offices. The intern will be a part of the end-to-end design process of an existing product team. Our team applies user centered design and research processes to modernize the enterprise software experience. We work at the intersection of user experience and machine learning to build the future.
You will have the opportunity to partner closely with other UX designers, product managers, engineers, and business experts across the various life cycles of products. You’ll collaborate with multi-disciplinary team members around the world and get exposure to other product areas in SAP.

SAP provides the hourly base salary rate range applicable for the posted role. The targeted range for this position is 18.00 - 40.00 CAD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidates will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Due to the nature of the role, which involves global interactions with SAP entities, as well as with employees and stakeholders in Canada, functional proficiency in English is required for positions based in the Quebec.
