Job Description

We help the world run better

At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.

What you’ll build

The SAP Internship Experience Program is SAP’s global, strategic, paid internship program that provides university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers. This is more than an internship, it’s the foundation for a career built on connection, creativity, and impact.

Position Title: SAP iXp Intern - Product Management

Location: Remote or Hybrid

Expected start date to end date: August 2026 - February 2027

  • Communicate a compelling product vision, strategy, and detailed roadmap, ensuring alignment with global business and customer requirements
  • Drive end-to-end product discovery and requirements definition, translating customer problems, market needs, and strategic priorities into clear use cases, user journeys, and well-structured feature requirements
  • Partner closely with product management, UX/design, and engineering teams to shape and refine product solutions, ensuring alignment between customer value, business goals, and technical feasibility
  • Lead and support customer and partner engagement activities (e.g., interviews, feedback sessions, design partners, early adopters) to validate problems, test solutions, and continuously incorporate real-world insights into the product
  • Develop and maintain core product artifacts, including requirements, use case definitions, roadmap inputs, and supporting materials that guide product development and decision-making
  • Contribute to the product roadmap and prioritization process by synthesizing inputs from customer feedback, market analysis, and internal stakeholders into actionable recommendations
  • Conduct market, competitive, and business analysis to assess opportunity areas, inform investment decisions, and support product positioning within the e-commerce and SaaS landscape
  • Play an active role in AI-driven innovation, contributing to the definition, structuring, and validation of AI and agentic use cases, and helping translate emerging capabilities into meaningful product scenarios
  • Collaborate with partners and ecosystem stakeholders to support the development of ISV and SI partnerships, helping identify integration opportunities, define joint use cases, and enable adoption of the product within the broader ecosystem
  • Support go-to-market and product adoption efforts by working with marketing, field teams, and partners to drive awareness, usage, and customer value realization across the lifecycle
  • Enable data-driven product decisions by analyzing usage signals, performance metrics, and customer feedback to identify improvement areas and growth opportunities
  • Create clear and compelling presentations, dashboards, and communication materials to share product insights, roadmap updates, and strategic recommendations with stakeholders and leadership

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in a business or software technology domain
  • Relevant work experience in the software industry, ideally in a product management or program management role
  • Strong interest in product management, with a focus on user-centric problem solving, requirements definition, and building impactful product experiences in a SaaS environment
  • Ability to structure ambiguous problems into clear, actionable outputs, including use cases, user stories, and well-defined requirements that can guide product and engineering teams
  • A confident and proactive communication style, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly, challenge assumptions, and engage effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, including product, engineering, and external partners
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize customer feedback, usage data, market signals, and competitive insights into meaningful product recommendations
  • Interest in AI-driven product innovation, with curiosity for defining and applying AI and agentic capabilities to real-world product scenarios and customer use cases
  • Familiarity with or interest in partner ecosystems (ISV and SI), and how integrations, collaborations, and joint use cases contribute to product adoption and growth
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment, demonstrating ownership, initiative, and accountability for driving topics forward
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in documenting requirements, structuring analyses, and maintaining product and reporting artifacts
  • Interest in or exposure to enterprise SaaS products, ideally in areas such as e-commerce, customer experience, or product-led growth, and an understanding of how enterprise requirements and processes impact product development
  • Experience with or willingness to learn tools such as Jira, Excel, PowerPoint to support product discovery, analysis, communication, and execution of product initiatives
  • Flexibility to work under time constraints and as part of an international team with multiple time zones (including Europe and United States)
