What you’ll do:

Position title: SAP iXp Intern - Operations & Finance, Global Sponsorship

Location: Hybrid - Hudson Yards, New York

Expected start date: August 2025

Duration: 12 months

Working hours: Full-time ( 40 hrs./week)

The Global Sponsorships team aims to provide first-class experiences to our customers and stakeholders. Our goal is to run efficiently as a team and ensure the support to all team members in order to deliver effectively in a deadline-oriented environment.

Expectations & Tasks

  • Work with the Head of Americas Global Sponsorships to prepare for all upcoming meetings with context, pre-meeting documents, and briefings
  • Act as the main point of contact for all scheduling and planning requests
  • Arrange meetings for team managers, including coordination of Team Meetings and larger partner and external events
  • Maintain a weekly task list that provides tracking and status for each property to update and use to manage and facilitate the management of each property
  • Meet with Property Managers on a bi-weekly basis to ensure status and progress are tracked accurately for each of the properties
  • Create planning and strategy documents for property leads
  • Manage special projects and activities as they occur
  • Support the management of the budget with the agency of record
  • Create alignment amongst the North America Sponsorships team through concise documentation of budget processes and expectations
  • Track the team’s fulfillment of requests made by higher-level management
  • Collaborate across various internal and external technology platforms to develop and streamline reporting for KPIs
  • Submit and track shopping carts and Purchase Orders (POs) across North America properties
    • Handle all shopping cart status changes or delays
  • Responsible for creating all new vendors for payment
  • Support the North America budget overview document and communicate concisely with the team

What you bring:

We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

  • Education:

    Current student at a university or recent graduate – preferred fields of study: Business Administration, Sports & Entertainment, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, & related fields – but MUST have the ability to support this role full-time

  • Eligibility: Must be currently enrolled, or recently graduated (start date must be within 6 months of graduation date) from a coding academy/bootcamp, apprenticeship, associate, bachelor’s, master’s or JD/PhD program

Skills / Competencies

  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel
  • Language skills: Fluent in English
  • Soft skills: Organized, self-starter, detail-driven, responsive, and able to multi-task promptly, strong interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate, strong work ethic and positive attitude, ability to learn quickly, collect and synthesize information easily

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 15-62 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
