What You’ll Build

The SAP Internship Experience Program is SAP’s global, strategic, paid internship program that provides university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers. This is more than an internship; it’s the foundation for a career built on connection, creativity, and impact.

Position title: SAP iXp Intern - Global Customer References & Advocacy

Location: Hybrid - Newtown Square

Expected start date to end date: January 2026

Working hours: Full time 40 hrs./week

In this role, you will be a member of the Americas Enterprise team within the Global Customer References & Advocacy organization, focusing on supporting customer reference activities. You will execute administrative tasks including fielding and completing reference requests, supporting reference advisors, scheduling customer reference meetings, reviewing and contributing to our sales enablement efforts.

Additionally, you will assist an experienced team with a range of communications, enablement and reference activities:

  • Respond to requests for customer references
  • Create and update assets (enablement decks, emails, and SharePoint pages)
  • Engage with key stakeholders throughout various levels of the organization to ensure alignment for reference activities
  • Support various strategic projects from planning, execution, and measuring/tracking key performance indicators (KPIs)

  • Education: currently pursuing a business related degree in Sales, Communication, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field
  • Eligibility: Must be currently enrolled, or recently graduated (start date must be within 6 months of graduation date) from a coding academy/bootcamp, apprenticeship, associate, bachelor’s, master’s or JD/PhD program
  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
  • Preferred fields of study: Business, Marketing or Communications
  • Requires candidates to currently be enrolled in an undergraduate (rising junior or senior) or Masters in topic areas such as Marketing, Communications, Technical Communications, Marketing Communications, English, etc.
  • Computer skills: Advanced
  • Language skills: fluent in English, German as a plus
  • Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Curious and eager to learn
  • Demonstrated self-starter
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Experience with virtual event hosting tools
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, SharePoint and Adobe Suite
  • Passionate about customer experience
  • Project management experience a plus
  • Knowledge of the software industry a plus
  • Ability to manage projects and timelines, following up with key stakeholders
  • Ability to build, leverage and maintain a network of SAP internal and external contacts and working relationships
  • Graphic design skills – design banner ads and other related tasks for digital and social campaigns

The Global Customer References & Advocacy organization helps drive revenue, increase brand perception, and improve customer loyalty by creating and nurturing lasting impactful relationships with customers. The Americas Enterprise team leads strategic reference recruitment, deal support, and content opportunities for enterprise customers in the Americas region to drive measurable pipeline impact and adoption for SAP solutions.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 15-62 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
