What You’ll Build
The SAP Internship Experience Program is SAP’s global, strategic, paid internship program that provides university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers. This is more than an internship, it’s the foundation for a career built on connection, creativity, and impact.
Position Title: SAP iXp Intern - Full Stack Developer
Location: Vancouver, BC
Expected Start Date to End Date: September 2026 - April 2027
Internship Duration: 8 months
Work Hours: 40 hours per week desired
- Have the unique opportunity to design, develop and deliver new features and capabilities for our internal AI driven content management and delivery system.
- Collaborate and innovate with Product, Design and other engineering teams to deliver a seamless, consistent and engaging user experience for thousands of internal users and millions of external users
- Design and develop front-end interfaces, RESTful APIs and backend systems
What You’ll Bring We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.
- Bachelors or Masters in a related field.
- Must be currently enrolled (with at least one semester or grading period completed before internship commences) or recently graduated (start date must be within 6 months of graduation date) from a coding academy/bootcamp, apprenticeship, associate, bachelor’s, master’s or JD/PhD program.
- Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, SQL, CSS
- Experience working with agents and LLMs – including an understanding of langChain, a2a and MCP protocols.
- Create web applications using Vue and React.
- Experience developing rich applications with HTML/CSS/JS
- Strong communication skills that include the ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment working with multiple teams across various geographies
- Preferred experience: familiarity with Microservices (Spring boot), Redis, CI/CD tools using Jenkins, GitHub. Experience building cloud applications (e.g. SAP BTP-CF, Google Cloud Platform, AWS and Azure)

Due to the nature of the role, which involves global interactions with SAP entities, as well as with employees and stakeholders in Canada, functional proficiency in English is required for positions based in the Quebec.
