Job Description

We help the world run better

At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.

What you’ll build

  • Support the Project and Product Managers in planning and coordinating GenAI@ABAP activities (timelines, dependencies, and follow-ups)
  • Track action items and support status reporting across workstreams
  • Help collect, structure, and document requirements and inputs from stakeholders (e.g., notes, summaries, and backlog items)
  • Prepare and support meetings and workshops (agenda support, minutes, action items, and follow-up communication)
  • Maintain project documentation (e.g., wiki pages, decision logs, and short communication updates)
  • Create clear status summaries and prepare slide decks/presentations for leadership (e.g., progress, key milestones, risks, and next steps)
  • Collaborate with cross-team partners to align information and support smooth communication across the ABAP platform

Position title: SAP iXp Intern (f/m/d) – ABAP AI Project Management Support

Work Area: Software-Design and Development

Location: Walldorf, Germany

Expected start date: June 2026

Working model: You are expected to come to the office 3 days per week

  • Project scope and deliverables – What will the intern be working on, and what outcomes are expected?
  • Business impact – How will this work create meaningful value for the business (beyond supplemental tasks like data entry or admin work)?
  • Team environment and collaboration – Who will the intern work with, and what type of support or mentorship will they receive?
  • Learning opportunities – What skills, tools, or knowledge will the intern gain from this experience?
  • Additional context – Any other details that will help candidates clearly understand the opportunity (e.g., exciting projects, exposure to customers, global collaboration)

What you’ll bring

You are a motivated student (f/m/d) who enjoys structured work, clear communication, and working with diverse stakeholders. In this role, you will closely collaborate with Project and Product Managers to help drive GenAI@ABAP topics forward - supporting planning, follow-up, and transparent reporting. You are comfortable turning complex information into clear updates and presentations for different audiences, including leadership:

  • Very good communication skills and confidence working with different stakeholders (developers, architects, project/product management)
  • Presentation skills: able to prepare concise slides and written updates for management/leadership
  • Tooling mindset: comfortable with MS PowerPoint/Excel; experience with Jira and Confluence (or similar tools) is a plus
  • Interest in GenAI topics and modern software development platforms (knowledge of ABAP/SAP is a plus, not a must)
