What You’ll Build

Position title: SAP iXp Intern - Customer Success & Delivery, West Market Unit, cACV Analyst Intern

Location: Hybrid - Palo Alto

Expected start date to end date: April 2026 – April 2027

Working hours: Full time 40 hrs./week

To accelerate our success in the Cloud, SAP has embarked on a multi-year journey to re-orient the value chain to prioritize product consumption as the North Star for our customer activities. We are committed to ensuring our customers drive maximum value from our products, which in turn drives our success. Our focus on Consumed Annual Contract Value (cACV) plays a critical role in driving adoption of SAP Cloud solutions, where Consumed ACV (cACV) quantifies the active customer utilization of a product against the purchased potential usage.

We are in search of an analyst who can help us analyze cACV data and generate reports, identifying trends and actionable insights. Additionally, the cACV Analyst will help us identify and resolve data issues, working across the SAP organizations to verify root cause and solution.

If possible, we would like the cACV Analyst to possess the skills needed to develop dashboards, tools, and websites to provide transparency of actual cACV, facilitate the tracking of activities, and create a platform for collaboration.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Become a subject matter expert in Consumed Annual Contract Value (cACV) of SAP cloud solutions, starting with knowing which materials are cACV-relevant, how its corresponding cACV is calculated, and how usage data is metered
  • Identify the biggest cACV potential and work with the Adoption & Consumption Leads to architect campaigns and motions that will drive quick increases in cACV
  • Identify customer-and-solution areas without a confirmed path, and work with the account team to rectify
  • Create customer-specific adoption and consumption dashboards to streamline account team’s review of consumption status and ideation of new usage scenarios
  • Become proficient in data source systems within SAP to extract the information needed for various reports and analysis
  • Collaborate with Account Executives, Customer Success Managers, and other key stakeholders such as Enterprise Architects and Success Plan Manaers to monitor and take action accordingly to address all aspects of a customer’s product usage, including low- consumption, over-consumption, shelfware, and anticipated churn
  • Work across the organizations to leverage all available resources to increase adoption and consumption

  • Edudation: currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, Artificial Intelligence, or related fields
  • Eligibility: Must be currently enrolled, or recently graduated (start date must be within 6 months of graduation date) from a coding academy/bootcamp, apprenticeship, associate, bachelor’s, master’s or JD/PhD program

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 15-62 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
