What you’ll do:

Position title: SAP iXp Intern - Business Development

Location: US SAP Office

Schedule: 30-40 HR/week

Duration: 6 Months

The SAP iXp Intern - Business Developement will help with the following:

  • Support pipeline execution and reporting by helping implement a structure around SAP’s Utilities Pipeline Acceleration Plan, tracking contributions, surfacing insights, and sharing updates with leadership.
  • Coordinate internal alignment across SAP’s industry, partner, and field teams to ensure cohesive messaging and streamlined opportunity execution.
  • Assist in driving third-party solution pipeline by supporting post-“Demand Day” follow-up, with a target of generating $60M in opportunity creation across strategic utility accounts.
  • Contribute to SAP’s partner engagement efforts by managing logistics, preparing materials, and supporting joint planning sessions and pipeline reviews.
  • Help curate and deliver outbound demand generation content, collaborating with Marketing Reps and solution stakeholders to support campaign execution.
  • Organize and enhance SAP for Utilities Conference activities, including content submissions, enablement planning, and partner coordination

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple moving parts in a dynamic environment.
  • Interest in business development, strategic partnerships, and go-to-market planning.
  • Solid communication skills, both written and verbal, especially in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • A proactive mindset, with the ability to follow through on tasks and contribute to collaborative goals.
  • Passion for energy/utilities industry, technology innovation, or partner ecosystems is a plus.
  • Comfort with tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and basic CRM systems (prior Salesforce exposure is a bonus).
  • Currently enrolled at a university

Meet your team


You’ll work directly with the Director of Business Development and collaborate with SAP’s Utilities Industry team, partner management, and field sales teams. Together, this cross-functional group is focused on accelerating pipeline growth, improving partner alignment, and delivering consistent, high-impact customer experiences. You’ll also gain exposure to SAP’s broader marketing and events teams through your work supporting the SAP for Utilities Conference and demand generation cam

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 15-62 (USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
