What You’ll Build

The SAP Internship Experience Program is SAP’s global, strategic, paid internship program that provides university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers. This is more than an internship, it’s the foundation for a career built on connection, creativity, and impact.

Position title: SAP iXp Intern – Business Area Controlling Sales Americas

Location: Buenos Aires, Argentina

Expected start date: July/August 2026

Duration: 6 months, up to 18 months

Schedule: Preferably in the afternoon

As an intern in BAC, you will:

Have the opportunity to gain deep insight into the Controlling function and its role as a strategic business partner within a global organization. You will support the full spectrum of controlling activities — from master data management to complex financial analysis, reporting, and process optimization — and directly contribute to SAP’s ability to make sound financial decisions that drive sustainable growth.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Support the team in recurring activities including month-end and quarter-end closing, forecasting, budgeting, and management reporting
  • Assist with master data maintenance, validation, and clean-up
  • Support ad hoc reporting and financial analysis requests from business stakeholders
  • Work with SAP internal tools and platforms (including SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP S/4HANA) to extract, structure, and present data
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of dashboards and standardized reports
  • Document and publish process descriptions on SAP internal platforms
  • Proactively communicate and interact with team members and internal stakeholders across functions and geographies
  • Contribute to BAC Sales initiatives focused on simplification, standardization, and automation of key controlling processes
  • Experiment with AI-powered tools to identify opportunities that enhance team productivity and streamline routine controlling tasks
  • Support the preparation of presentations and management-level meetings
  • Assist with other operational and project-based activities as needed

What you’ll bring:

  • Currently enrolled as a university student in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering or a comparable field
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong command of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Exposure to or curiosity about data and analytics tools (e.g., SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, or similar) is a plus
  • Eagerness to experiment with AI tools (such as SAP Joule, generative AI solutions, Claude Code) to improve productivity and the quality of financial analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and evolving environment
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Quality- and results-oriented with a proactive and positive attitude

Business Area Controlling (BAC) Sales Americas: The team provides operational support to Customer Success Business Leaders and CFOs across the Americas region.
