COMPANY DESCRIPTION

This position requires access to customer data; Must be a U.S. citizen. SAP NS2 does not offer Visa sponsorships for this role. All internals must have manager’s approval to transfer.

Must have an active TS/SCI + poly and be onsite at customer 100% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Develop dimensional and transactional calculated views in SAP HANA
  • Evaluate source data systems for variances, anomalies, and efficiency
  • Create reusable data models and calculated views that scale across the enterprise
  • Optimize logical and metadata models
  • Performance tuning of long running queries/procedures
  • Collaborate with data owners and data scientists to understand relationships in enterprise source data

Desired Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of HANA architecture, other business intelligence suites (COGNOS, Informatica, etc)
  • Understanding of Attribute Based Access Control
  • Ability to analyze business needs and translate into long term solution data models
  • Understand relational, dimensional, cube based relationships
  • Understand conceptual, physical, logical data models
  • Experience with enterprise scale relational databases
  • Experience with building queries in SAP HANA studio using BW/4HANA Objects.
  • Experience with reporting tools – Microsoft PowerBI, Tableau, Jupyter Notebooks
  • Experience with developing SAP S4/HANA CDS Views.
  • Experience with large data volume, performance tuning
  • Experience in ABAP programming skills and SQL Skills.
  • Experience with SDLC methodologies: Agile, Waterfall
  • Experience in Smart Data Access and Smart data Integration will be an added advantage.
  • Exposure to Cloud tools/integration will be an added advantage.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
  • Professional certification(s) desired.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 151900 - 340900(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
