The focus of the team is to embed and develop Machine Learning solutions into business enterprise solutions. In collaboration with leading universities, partners, customers, and SAP product groups, SAP AI drives the development of promising ideas and prototypes into market-ready software for maximum customer value.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

You will work as a student intern in fast-paced research projects and apply software engineering principles and concepts to help create new and innovative research prototypes. You would be designing and analyzing software architectures and implement software prototypes. This internship gives you the unique opportunity to work with a multifaceted team to build enterprise systems for large scale commercial use. Your work in this internship will directly impact the millions of people currently using SAP solutions. The duration of the internship is 3-6 months full-time.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • You are currently studying for an information technology degree in: Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or Information Systems

  • You have excellent communication skills: oral, written, and in presentations

  • You have hands-on software development skills, such as:

  • Programming: Python, Java

  • Database: SQL-based databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL)

  • Background in basic machine learning techniques is a plus
