About the Team:
The SAP Customer Experience (CX) Product & Engineering organization builds cloud-native, enterprise-grade solutions that power customer engagement across a broad portfolio of CX domains, including sales, service, commerce, marketing, and consumer products.
Operating in a highly collaborative and global environment, our teams bring together product, engineering, design, and architecture to transform strategy into scalable, production-ready capabilities.
As SAP accelerates its vision for AI-driven and increasingly autonomous experiences, CX Product & Engineering plays a critical role in delivering agentic and generative AI capabilities embedded into core business workflows. This role sits within a virtual, cross-functional network, driving alignment and execution of AI engineering practices across the CX portfolio—ensuring solutions meet SAP’s standards for security, compliance, and reliability.
What You’ll Do:
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a technical thought leader and execution driver for AI-powered capabilities across SAP CX, operating as a senior individual contributor with influence across multiple teams.
- Lead and drive cross-portfolio AI initiatives, delivering agentic and generative AI use cases embedded across CX domains (Sales, Service, Commerce, Marketing, Consumer Products).
- Coordinate, guide, and unblock distributed engineering teams, balancing strong alignment with local autonomy.
- Translate SAP-wide AI strategy (e.g., SAP Business AI, Joule, agentic platforms) into scalable, production-ready CX solutions.
- Partner closely with AI Product Management, Architecture, and Engineering leaders to deliver measurable customer and business outcomes.
- Mentor and elevate engineering talent across CX through hands-on coaching, best practices, and technical leadership.
- Contribute to internal innovation initiatives, including code camps, engineering excellence programs, and tooling improvements.

What You Bring:
Required Skills:
- Strong AI & Software Engineering Foundation.
- Hands-on experience designing and building backend systems and AI-enabled applications with production-grade reliability.
- Generative & Agentic AI Expertise.
- Practical experience with LLM-based architectures, including RAG, orchestration frameworks, and agent workflows applied to enterprise use cases.
- Cross-Team Technical Leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to guide architectural decisions, navigate trade-offs, and influence multiple teams and stakeholders.
Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering
- 3+ years of hands-on experience delivering GenAI / LLM-based solutions into production environments
- Proven track record of leading cross-team technical initiatives at scale
Education:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience building enterprise-grade software and AI systems
