What You’ll Build

Position title: SAP Concur iXp Intern - Software Developer

Location: São Leopoldo, RS [hybrid position, 3 days per week working from the office]

SAP Concur is seeking motivated Software Developer Interns to contribute to our integrated travel, expense, and invoice management solutions. This internship offers hands-on technical experience in both frontend and backend development within a cloud-native environment.

• Core Responsibilities
• Assist in designing and developing new features as part of agile teams
• Support cloud service development and deployment under mentorship
• Participate in code reviews and learn best practices for scalable development
• Gain exposure to AI-powered features and LLM integration concepts
• Contribute to testing and quality assurance processes

Learning Opportunities

• Mentorship from senior developers in scrum team environment
• Hands-on experience with modern development tools and frameworks
• Understanding of LLM integration and AI-assisted development tools
• Introduction to DevOps practices, CI/CD, and observability
• Experience with cloud-native solutions and AWS services

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
• Basic programming experience in at least one language (JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Go, Kotlin)
• Fundamental understanding of web development concepts
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn

Preferred Qualifications

• Understand frontend and backend concepts in distributed systems
• Understanding of database fundamentals
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) through coursework or personal projects
• Interest in AI/machine learning technologies and LLM integration
• Knowledge of AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, Cline, Claude Code)
• Exposure to DevOps practices and continuous delivery concepts
