What you’ll do:

Position title: SAP Concur iXp Intern - Campaign Activation Specialist

Location: Hybrid - Bellevue

Expected start date: June 2025

Duration: 6 -12 months

Working hours: Part-time - Full-time ( 20 - 40 hrs./week)

The campaign activation role is designed for someone with strong analytical and creative skills who is motivated to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of how content produced by the global integrated campaigns is adopted and activated by global and field teams, with a primary focus on our digital channels (social, web pages, and LinkedIn newsletters).

This role contributes to the team’s pipeline and content efficiency objectives by operating as a bridge between campaign managers (content creators), global channel owners, and our field marketing teams (e.g., NA Enterprise and SMB teams).

Understanding and interpreting content performance through those channels (and by those teams) will support data-driven decisions on new campaign content creation, while also making recommendations on how to atomize and/or create derivative assets from existing content to best extend the value of content already created.

Success in this role requires a strong understanding of content and digital channel performance, the ability to successfully navigate the hand-offs and partnerships between the campaigns team and channel owners, and a curious and analytical approach to work.

Responsibilities:

  • Review content performance across our digital channels, identify top and underperforming assets, and propose action plans based on the analysis
  • Propose opportunities to boost channel performance by identifying gaps in content adoption through digital channels
  • Propose derivative assets that can be leveraged across various channels and use cases — for example, using data from a research report to create additional content to support the best use of digital channels (social posts, videos, blogs, etc.)
  • Support campaign web pages creation and updates, and coordinate with the digital team on the publishing schedule
  • Understand the editorial calendars of our various digital channels and ensure there is a programmatic approach to placing campaign content in all relevant places
  • Understand and apply campaign/program/channel best practices in preparing plans and recommendations
  • Manage meeting and resource schedules, workflows, and deadlines associated with activities of the role
  • Communicate effectively on a regularly scheduled cadence with key stakeholders to ensure alignment
  • Track, measure, and report on progress to agreed-upon metrics, working across the team to identify and analyze gaps and action plans to course-correct as needed
  • As needed, publish and activate content within a web content management system or other tools, and manage campaign and content planning activities via available tools (e.g., Wrike)

What you bring:

We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master's degree
  • Eligibility: Must be currently enrolled, or recently graduated (start date must be within 6 months of graduation date) from a coding academy/bootcamp, apprenticeship, associate, bachelor’s, master’s or JD/PhD program
  • Prior work/internship experience, ideally in a marketing, marketing communications, digital, media, advertising, or related environment
  • Demonstrated project management experience.

Competencies:

  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply new business domain knowledge to the role.
  • Strong writing, proofing, and editing skills.
  • Proficiency/ability to learn and work with web content and project management systems (e.g., Wrike, SharePoint, Highspot).
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and consensus-building skills — ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Behaviors:

  • Excellent communicator, including keen listening skills.
  • Creative and innovative, discerning the essential points or storyline from information.
  • Able to quickly learn and understand new concepts, tools, and markets.
  • Comfortable building relationships with all role levels and types.
  • Champions audience needs and interests.
  • Flexible and able to shift strategies and tactics when required.
  • Comfortable presenting content plans and results to cross-functional team members and leadership.

Knowledge:

  • Prior experience working with digital marketing programs and marketing content strategy is advantageous.
  • Company strategy, brand and value proposition, culture, and attitudes

Location:

  • The position is based in the Seattle/Bellevue, WA area, with a requirement to spend a minimum of 2 days per week in our Bellevue office.

Meet your team:

The Global Integrated Campaigns team is a small but mighty team of 6, primarily based out of Bellevue, WA whose campaigns and content deliver over $200m of pipeline to the business every year. We like to have fun, and enjoy coffee and chocolate. In September the team is planning to run a 5k together.
