Position Overview
The Configuration Solutions Manager is responsible for leading the Configuration Solutions team within the SMB Service Delivery organization, focusing on the deployment, optimization, and ongoing support of SAP Concur Travel and Expense modules. This role serves as the strategic driver for operational excellence, ensuring high-quality client delivery, effective team performance, and continuous process improvement. The manager will foster a collaborative and inclusive environment, empowering team members to exceed client expectations and achieve organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Configuration Solutions Coaches and Specialists, promoting engagement, accountability, and professional growth.
- Technical Oversight: Supervise and guide configuration and implementation activities for SAP Concur Travel and Expense modules, ensuring adherence to best practices and client requirements.
- Client Engagement: Serve as a primary escalation point for clients, collaborating with stakeholders to resolve complex configuration issues and deliver tailored solutions.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency, quality, and scalability of service delivery.
- Resource Planning: Manage team workload, allocation, and performance metrics, ensuring optimal resource utilization and timely project delivery.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Implementation, Support) to align service delivery strategies and share knowledge.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks related to configuration and delivery, proposing mitigation strategies and solutions.
- Reporting & Analytics: Monitor and report on key performance indicators, team productivity, and client satisfaction, providing actionable insights to leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in SAP Concur configuration, project management, or service delivery within a client-facing environment.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably within a technology or consulting organization.
- Proven track record of managing teams and delivering complex solutions on time and within budget.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in SAP Concur Travel and Expense modules, including implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of business processes related to travel, expense, and financial systems.
- Exceptional project management skills, with proficiency in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related business tools.

Physical and Mental Requirements
- Work is primarily performed in a professional office environment with remote flexibility.
- Requires prolonged periods of sitting, working at a computer, and attending meetings (virtual and in-person).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Working Hours
Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Flexibility to accommodate client needs, project deadlines, and occasional after-hours work is expected.
