What you will build

As a frontend developer, you will work on a specific project critical to SAP Commerce and Consumer Industries’ needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. We need our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full-stack as we continue to push technology forward.

Core Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software with a focus on front-end engineering.
• Work on proof-of-concept and prototyping efforts.
• Propose and compare design and technology options with technical leads.
• Constantly test, monitor, analyse and improve performance.
• Look to leverage our SAP internal platform and tools

Waht you bring

• BS degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. (ongoing)
• Knowledge of modern front-end technology stacks, including HTML, CSS, REST/JSON, JavaScript, TypeScript and client side, component-oriented frameworks and libraries.
• Knowledge of modern web development architecture based on client-side JavaScript (React.js / Vue.js) and prebuilt Markup (e.g. Gatsby.js, Webpack).
• Knowledge of web APIs and API-first design principles.
• Strong sense of design and commitment to the fundamentals of UX-Design.
• Strong sense for quality assurance and experience designing and implementing functional tests as part of the development process.
• Can work flexibly and agilely
• Can work well in a team working and be able to communicate smoothly
• able to commit minimum 3 days a week for at least 6 months

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

• Proficient in React.js
• Knowledge in micro-frontend frameworks and concepts.
