Profile description

The actual market trends and technology evolution put AI at the center of any new initiative of our customers. SAP Strategy with AI First, Suite First put AI as a priority for our new Consultants.

BTP is the platform to extend, add innovation and embed AI in the Suite while maintaining the Core clean and the BTP Architect with AI orientation is a new business - technical profile that should have all the BTP technical skills to do that and the soft skills to analyze customer business processes and industry trends and boost the transformation to the adoption of agentic AI business processes.

Expectations and tasks

• Review traditional business processes and identify opportunities to improve them by embedding AI/Agentic AI
• Ability to translate business processes into AI-driven solutions combining SAP BTP services, data, and user experience (Fiori/Joule/Mobile)
• Responsible for implementing solutions based on the usage of the some of the following SAP solutions:

• • SAP BTP: development of CAP or RAP applications using various BTP services
  • SAP BTP AI Core and/or Joule Studio would be a plus
  • SAP Fiori on BTP and Fiori for S/4HANA
  • SAP Workzone std and advanced editions
  • SAP BTP IAS, DMS, CI/CD, TM, DevOps
  • SAP Build Process Automation
  • SAP Mobile Services – MDK would be a plus
  • SAP Mobile Asset Manager would be a plus
• Ensure successful communication, deployment and adoption of SAP strategy in every project which includes the next 5 imperatives:

1. Joule as the new AI user experience.
2. Embedded and extensible AI in every business process.
3. Bold, high-value Industry AI applications.
4. SAP Business Data Cloud providing the data layer as the basis for our AI.
5. Adoption of our suite through RISE and GROW with our AI-powered tool chain and our modernized Services portfolio

• Assess custom requirements and build BTP custom applications with the best UX
• Provide knowledge transfer to project and customer teams on SAP BTP solutions.
• Stay current on SAP BTP trends and best practices
• Willingness and capable to develop skills on new technologies autodidactic and in parallel with daily work
• Strong understanding of Clean Core principles and side-by-side extensibility using SAP BTP.
• Design of intuitive, role-based user experiences (Fiori, Mobile, Joule).
• Lead AI discovery workshops
• Define use cases with business stakeholders
• Translate requirements into scalable BTP architectures

Education and Basic Qualifications

• Graduate level with Bachelor in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science or other equivalent degree.
• Post grade degree in Data Science or AI would be a plus
• SAP Certified - SAP Generative AI Developer (Preferred)
• SAP Certified - Solution Architect - SAP BTP (Preferred)

Work Experience

• 4+ years of experience working with SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA implementations with a UX role
• 6+ years of experience working with software development using SAPUI5 and BTP
• 1+ years working with AI Sap or non Sap
• Experience as a functional consultant for SAP ERP implementations at initial stages of the career would be a plus
• Project Management experience would be a plus. Leadership and communications skills are very important for the role
• Experience designing AI-driven use cases (classification, prediction, copilots, automation)
• Experience with AI orchestration (AI Core, APIs, external models)
• Understanding of RAG, LLM integration or conversational UX
• Hands-on experience applying AI in business scenarios (SAP or non-SAP)

Technical skills

The candidate should have proven knowledge and skills in the following areas:

• SAP Fiori is a must as well as BTP knowledge. BTP and/or any Fiori/SAPUI5 Certification would be a plus
• All or many of the following BTP skills are a must: Onboarding, Account/sub account creation, BAS, CAP, RAP, IAS, DMS, HANA cloud, CI/CD, TM, DevOpps concepts, Cloud foundry, SAP Build Work zone, SAP Build Apps, SAP Build Process automation, SAP BTP Mobile Services, MDK
• HTML5/ Javascript /SAPUI5/ABAP/Phyton is a must
• Python, JavaScript (ES6), CSS, NodeJs, Native iOS, Reactive, native Android development skills would be a plus
• OData service development would be a plus
• SAP Joule and/or Generative AI applied to improve business user experience is a must
• SAP AI Core and SAP Joule studio is a plus but if not any non SAP AI technology is a must
