As a Senior Procurement Solution Advisor, you will act as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them transform and optimize their procurement and external workforce processes using SAP’s intelligent spend management solutions. You will combine deep procurement domain expertise with strong solution knowledge to guide customers from discovery to evaluation and selection of their Procurement transformation.
You will work closely with sales, customer success, and delivery teams to shape solution architectures, lead value-based conversations, and demonstrate how SAP Procurement solutions—particularly SAP Ariba and SAP Fieldglass—enable business outcomes across source-to-pay and services procurement.

Key Responsibilities
• Act as a subject matter expert in procurement and services procurement, advising customers on best practices and industry trends
• Lead solution discovery workshops and map customer procurement challenges to SAP solutions
• Design and articulate end-to-end procurement and services procurement solutions using SAP Ariba and SAP Fieldglass
• Support sales cycles by delivering compelling solution presentations, demonstrations, and value narratives
• Collaborate with account teams to develop customer-specific solution strategies and roadmaps
• Guide customers on process transformation, including source-to-pay, supplier management, and contingent(or external) workforce management
• Contribute to thought leadership by sharing insights on procurement innovation, digital transformation, and intelligent spend management
• Partner with delivery and customer success teams to ensure a smooth transition from sales to implementation

Required Experience & Skills
Procurement & Domain Experience
• Proven experience working in procurement, sourcing, or spend management roles, either as a practitioner, consultant, or solution advisor
• Strong understanding of end-to-end procurement processes, including:
o Spend Analysis and Category Strategy
o Strategic sourcing
o Supplier lifecycle and performance management
o Contract management
o Procure-to-pay (P2P)

Procurement Solutions Experience
• Hands-on experience with procurement technology solutions, with strong preference for SAP Ariba (Sourcing, Buying & Invoicing, Supplier Lifecycle & Performance, Contracts, or Guided Buying)
• Experience as a practitioner using procurement technology solutions in the field, such as a buyer or category manager.
• Experience positioning or implementing procurement solutions in customer-facing roles is highly desirable
• Experience as a practitioner, positioning or implementing ERP Material Management (MM) Module

Advisory & Communication Skills
• Ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders, including procurement leaders and executives
• Strong storytelling and presentation skills, translating business challenges into clear solution value
• Experience leading workshops, demos, and solution design discussions
• Ability to understand and interpret customer procurement requirements and challenges, and translate them into solution discussions

Nice to Have
• +10 years experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, or advisory roles
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA sourcing and procurement
• Exposure to complex enterprise procurement transformations
• Understanding of accounts payable processes and invoice management within procure-to-pay cycles
• Understanding of import procurement and inbound logistics processes related to international sourcing and trade
• Experience or exposure to supply chain risk management and ESG considerations in procurement
• Understanding of contingent workforce, contractor, or services procurement processes
