Job Description

Company Description

Job Description

What you'll bring

You have more than ten years of experience in enterprise software sales. You have led account teams and delivered consistent results in complex, multi-stakeholder environments. Your track record includes top-performer recognition across diverse teams and customer structures.

You think strategically. You understand how business transformation works in large financial institutions — from process change to technology adoption. You have the financial acumen to manage budgets, model business cases, and connect technology decisions to measurable outcomes. You communicate with clarity and conviction at C-level. You bring emotional intelligence to difficult conversations and high-stakes situations.

AI is central to how you lead and work. You use agentic AI tools daily — for account research, meeting preparation, and planning. You apply context engineering to get precise, relevant AI outputs. You use AI-assisted automation to build materials and prototype ideas efficiently. You adopt new AI capabilities quickly and bring your team along.

You hold a university degree. Excellent German and English are required.

What you'll build

You lead a team of Account Executives in the German financial services and banking segment. You manage team performance, develop individual skills, and build a culture of accountability and shared success. You are responsible for license, subscription, and services revenue — with a clear focus on sustainable cloud growth.

You develop and execute strategic account plans. You define and drive cloud strategy with your customers and guide them through end-to-end business transformation — across finance, operations, and supply chain. You use SAP's enterprise portfolio, including S/4HANA and cloud solutions, to design and deliver relevant solutions. You position AI value selling as a core pillar — connecting SAP Business AI and intelligent agents directly to measurable customer outcomes.

You manage complex sales cycles in close collaboration with internal teams — consulting, line-of-business experts, solution specialists, and partners. You build senior relationships and sustain customer engagement at C-level across the full account lifecycle.

  • Develop Account Executives through coaching, feedback, and structured team performance management
  • Build long-term relationships with C-level stakeholders across business and IT
  • Negotiate and close complex deals, including subscription renewals and account expansion
  • Qualify a rolling four-quarter pipeline and drive opportunities to close
  • Achieve revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction targets through active customer engagement

Where you belong

You join SAP's Financial Services and Banking team in the Large Enterprise segment. Banking is one of SAP's most strategically important segments in Germany. SAP has held a leading market position here for decades — and the team continues to set ambitious goals.

The team brings together deep industry expertise and strong cross-functional collaboration. Account Executives, solution specialists, consulting teams, and partners work closely together. Knowledge is shared openly. Decisions are made with clarity.

Co-leadership is an option for this role. Part-time from 75% is not an exception — it is an explicit and welcome part of how this team works and hires.
