We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.

What you’ll build

As a Quality Lead, you will shape and align the organization’s quality strategy, processes, and KPIs across products and teams. Acting as a key advocate for best practices in software quality and development processes, you will promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

You will work in close partnership with development and operations teams to design scalable quality frameworks that ensure smooth, reliable, and compliant deployments into the production environment. Your role will require both strategic oversight and hands-on engagement to maintain process consistency, transparency, and technical integrity

Key focus areas include:

  • Quality governance: Defining and maintaining quality processes, standards, and measurable KPIs
  • Release readiness: Validating new features, patches, and hotfixes to confirm alignment with release and compliance expectations
  • Process reliability: Monitoring quality dashboards, ensuring KPI compliance, and proactively identifying improvement opportunities
  • Root-cause analysis: Reviewing incident investigations and confirming the completeness and accuracy of corrective actions
  • Collaboration: Partnering with QPA peers and cross-functional teams to refine shared practices and support consistent, high-quality production deployment

Your contribution will directly enhance Business Data Cloud’s reliability, performance, and trustworthiness in large-scale cloud environments.

What you bring

You bring a blend of technical expertise, process discipline, and a genuine drive for continuous improvement. You understand how to translate complex engineering realities into measurable quality outcomes that serve both business and customer needs

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Proven experience in software quality, release, or process assurance roles
  • Strong understanding of the software development life cycle, methodologies, and core programming foundations (OOP, data structures, and modern development practices)
  • Solid grasp of key quality principles, including testing methodologies, defect management, and root-cause analysis
  • Familiarity with IT compliance frameworks and governance processes
  • Hands-on experience with cloud software development and cloud-native principles
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and associated tools for efficient and reliable delivery
  • Experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium or JMeter
  • Demonstrated self-organization, ownership of deliverables, and a mindset for continuous improvement
  • A customer-focused approach, ensuring that quality aligns with user expectations
Experience in product management, project management, or release management is considered a strong plus.

Where you belong

You’ll join the Business Data Cloud Foundation Services Infrastructure team - a dynamic environment combining the agility of a startup with the scale and stability of SAP. Here we work with leading-edge technologies such as Cloud Foundry, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, SAML SSO, OAuth, Microservices, HANA Cloud, and Dynatrace.

Our scope includes Observability, System and Tenant Management, and Tenant Upgrades, as well as continuous exploration of new technologies and best practices. We support the broader infrastructure organization by delivering software, services, and APIs that are robust, reliable, and scalable.

If you want to help build and launch SAP’s next-generation cloud-based analytics platform in a fast-paced, innovative culture, while deepening your expertise in Cloud, Big Data, Mobile, and in-memory computing with SAP HANA - this is the right opportunity for you.

Come help us shape the future.
