Project Senior Consultant/Senior Professional Services Consultant - EMEA/ MEE WalkMe (m/f/d)
Job Description
We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.
About the Role
The Senior Professional Services Consultant is one of the most impactful roles at WalkMe. You will own the end-to-end implementation of our digital adoption platform for some of the world's most complex and high-stakes organisations — including global defence and government primes, where getting user adoption right isn't just a product metric, it's mission-critical.
You'll partner directly with customers to design and build solutions that drive meaningful change in how enterprise users — from commercial software teams to defence programme offices — interact with complex platforms. You'll report to the Director of Professional Services, EMEA.
What You'll Own
WalkMe Implementation Design, build, and deploy interactive digital adoption experiences that drive measurable business impact — from accelerating feature adoption in commercial SaaS environments to streamlining onboarding for defence and government users operating within tightly governed, high-complexity systems.
Strategic Consultation Act as a trusted advisor to application owners and programme stakeholders. You'll map business objectives to WalkMe solutions, with the ability to navigate both commercial and regulated environments — including those with strict compliance, security, and change management requirements common in the defence sector.
Project Delivery Lead end-to-end implementation projects with rigour. Manage scope, timelines, and budgets while coordinating across customer stakeholders, internal teams, and — where relevant — system integrators and defence programme partners. You understand what "on time, on budget" means when the stakes are high.
Data & Optimisation Monitor WalkMe usage data and user feedback to continuously improve adoption outcomes. Translate data into actionable insights and present findings clearly to both technical teams and senior stakeholders, including non-technical programme leads.
Knowledge Transfer & Training Deliver training and enablement sessions that genuinely land — whether you're working with a commercial product team or a defence organisation rolling out a new enterprise system to hundreds of end users across multiple sites.
Troubleshooting & Technical Problem-Solving Diagnose and resolve implementation issues across diverse platforms and environments, including those with restricted network configurations or custom enterprise infrastructure.
Cross-Functional Collaboration Build strong working relationships with UX/UI designers, developers, customer success teams, and external stakeholders. In defence and government contexts, this extends to programme managers, procurement leads, and security teams.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- 5+ years of experience in Professional Services, Implementation Consulting, or Customer Success, with a track record of delivering complex technical projects.
- 3+ years working with SaaS platforms in enterprise environments.
- Experience working with — or a strong interest in — defence, government, or other regulated industries where adoption and change management are critical to programme success.
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the ability to customise and integrate WalkMe into web applications.
- Analytical mindset: comfortable interpreting usage data to make decisions and demonstrate ROI to customer stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage projects end-to-end in agile or hybrid delivery environments.
- Excellent communication skills — able to translate technical detail for non-technical audiences, including senior leaders and programme sponsors.
- Fluent German and Englisch language skills
- Security clearance (or eligibility to obtain clearance) is advantageous
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
