Job Title: Presales Specialist

Purpose and Objective:
SAP America, Inc. seeks a Presales Specialist at our Newtown Square, PA location to provide sales support of products/systems including technology support and technical services.
Expectations and Tasks:
Compose and deliver sales presentations that cover SAP and partner software solutions to prospective customer audiences. Prepare and deliver value-based software demonstrations/presentations in support of sales cycles. Conduct discovery sessions with representatives from the prospective customer in order to build relationships with the customer and understand their unique needs. Demonstrate knowledge of SAP solutions and appropriate industries in order to maintain credibility with prospective customers. Provide proof points with relevant customer stories. Support RFx completion in support of customer proposals. Connect with customers “remotely” using virtual technologies (SAP Virtual Studio and Adobe Connect). Provide limited post-sale support to key customers primarily to the project/implementation team to ensure a smooth transition. Support one-to-many sales and marketing events both on-site and remotely. Support Design Thinking workshops to promote new and innovative solutions for customers and prospects. Develop relationships with sales teams to promote effective sales methodologies.
Education and Occupational Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field of study and five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field of study and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:
Experience must involve three (3) years in the following:
Cloud Reference Architecture and Principles, including cloud native and cloud resident architectures;
Enterprise-wide Business Capabilities and Process Modeling;
Industry reference architecture, including automotive, consumer goods, or medical devices;
Implement Sales and Customer Lifecycle Opportunity and Account Based Sales methodologies; and
Presentations using Pyramid Method and MECE Principle.
Travel: Position requires up to 80% domestic or international travel to various and unanticipated client sites.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $112,643 - $154,275. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $121,000 - $205,700. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
