Job Description

We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.

Role Overview

The Global PES Operations team sits within GTM Operations and provides the Partner Ecosystem Success organisation with the services it needs to execute its transformational agenda — covering business operations, digital excellence, and performance management. As an Operations Business Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to PES leaders, owning one of the key business areas and driving the operational rhythm that keeps the organisation focused, aligned, and accountable.

You will play a central role in shaping a streamlined operations model across global and regional partner organisations — championing innovation, automation, and consistency to deliver world-class business operations that are fully aligned with PES and SAP's financial objectives and strategic imperatives. You will work in close partnership with the Transformation and Digital Excellence pillars of the PES Operations unit.

Key Responsibilities

Rhythm of Business (RoB) Management

Own and orchestrate the end-to-end operational cadence for PES, coordinating stakeholders across all RoB activities — including Sales Forecasting, Demand Management, Customer Value Journeys, and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).

  • Drive efficient execution of RoB processes for leaders at both global and regional levels.
  • Create structured connection points for lessons learned, decision-making, and best-practice sharing.
  • Maintain and improve cadence templates, agenda frameworks, and data/insight packages.

Governance & Reporting

Ensure a consistent, end-to-end view of the Rhythm of Business for governance and reporting purposes.

  • Deliver timely and actionable insights, ensuring transparency across the PES organisation.
  • Track and follow through on agreed actions, acting as an accountability partner to PES leaders.
  • Monitor and report on operational KPIs including Attainment, Adoption, GTM performance, Forecast Accuracy, Customer Engagement, Delivery Excellence, and Organisational Health.

QBR Management

Take full ownership of the planning, preparation, and execution of regional and global QBRs.

  • Align all stakeholders in advance to ensure sessions are productive, insight-led, and action-oriented.
  • Design and continuously improve QBR frameworks and supporting materials.

Operational Efficiency & Strategic Projects

Lead or contribute to cross-functional initiatives that help PES scale and improve operational efficiency.

  • Identify and eliminate operational roadblocks; design and implement process improvements.
  • Drive innovation and automation across business operations practices.
  • Implement next-generation practices, processes, and KPIs in partnership with global and regional teams.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Build and maintain strong relationships across PES and with key stakeholders across SAP functions.

  • Foster alignment on strategic priorities and represent PES Operations in cross-functional forums.
  • Act as a thought leader, continuously raising the bar for operational excellence across the organisation.
  • Provide executive-level support and issue resolution, communicating with clarity and confidence up to board level.

Candidate Profile

Experience & Background

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate operations or strategy, ideally within a global organisation.
  • Demonstrable experience managing and executing regional and/or global Rhythm of Business processes.
  • Familiarity with SAP's operational processes and an established network within SAP, especially with Global Revenue Operations (GRO).
  • Understanding of the PES organisation and the unique dynamics of an ecosystem business within a large enterprise.

Education

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or equivalent degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Relevant professional certifications in project management, operations, or business strategy are a plus.

Technical & Analytical Skills

  • Strong expertise in data analysis — able to translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights and compelling visualisations for senior leadership.
  • Proven capability managing cross-functional projects with virtual, geographically dispersed teams.
  • Proficiency in business intelligence and operations tooling relevant to the SAP ecosystem.

Communication & Stakeholder Management

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated experience preparing and delivering presentations for senior and executive audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills — able to build trust, influence without authority, and foster collaboration across organisational boundaries.
  • Ad-hoc issue resolution capability with the confidence and gravitas to engage at board level.

Execution & Problem Solving

  • Ability to independently manage multiple concurrent priorities in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Diligent, detail-oriented, and results-driven — with a strong sense of personal ownership and accountability.
  • Comfortable with both strategic thinking and hands-on execution.

Mindset & Cultural Fit

  • Growth mindset — proactively seeks new knowledge, adapts quickly to changing requirements, and embraces continuous improvement.
  • Thrives in international, multicultural environments; aligned with SAP's values of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Collaborative team player with strong networking instincts and a proactive approach to building relationships.
