The Global PES Operations team is part of GTM Operations and supports Partner Ecosystem Success (PES) with services around execution of the transformational agenda, business operations and digital excellence.

As part of the global PES Business Operations team, the successful candidate will act as the business partner and trusted advisor to PES leaders, focusing on one of the key business areas to drive Rhythm of Business, Go-To-Market, Partner Performance, Demand Management, Insights and Partner Adoption/Consumption & Renewal metrics.

This position will be contributing into shaping a streamlined business operations setup across global and regional partner organizations, and will be driving innovation, automation, and consistency to deliver world-class business operations that align with business goals, financial objectives, and strategic imperatives of PES & SAP, and will work closely with other parts of the PES Operations unit (Transformation and Digital Excellence).

Responsibilities

  • Execute PES Operations practices, cadences, and KPIs across the Rhythm of Business (Cadences – FC/DM/CVJ, agenda, templates, data/insights)
  • Provide business and leadership insights on operational KPIs, including but not limited to Attainment, Adoption, GTM, and Forecast Accuracy. KPIs related to Financial Performance, Customer Engagement, Delivery Excellence, and Organizational Excellence.
  • Actively contribute to the evolution of PES Operations across global and regional teams to inspire organizational excellence. Implement next-generation practices, processes, and KPIs.
  • Provide thought leadership, continuously driving business operations innovation and optimization.
  • Co-ordinate and execute special and complex ad-hoc tasks supporting the PES leadership team.

YOUR FUTURE ROLE

Rhythm of Business (RoB) Management:

You will manage the overall Rhythm of Business (operational cadence) for PES, coordinating stakeholders across various RoB activities such as Sales Forecasting, Customer Value Calls, and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs). You will ensure that this operational cadence runs efficiently for leaders at both the global and regional levels, creating connection points for lessons learned, decision-making, and best practice sharing


Governance & Reporting:

You will ensure a consistent, end-to-end view of the Rhythm of Business for governance and reporting purposes, delivering insights, ensuring transparency across the organization and follow up and through on agreed upon actions, acting as a trusted advisor to PES leaders


QBR Management:

You will take ownership of organizing and preparing regional and/or global QBRs, aligning with all stakeholders to ensure these sessions are productive, insightful, and actionable


Operational Efficiency:

You may take on additional projects, driving the execution of strategic initiatives that help PES scale, grow, and improve operational efficiency across functions. This could include eliminating operational roadblocks or enhancing processes to enable smooth workflows

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

You will build strong relationships across various teams within PES as well as with stakeholders from other SAP functions, fostering collaboration and driving alignment on strategic priorities

YOUR PROFILE

Educational Background and language skills:

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or equivalent university degree in a relevant field (Business, Operations, etc.)
  • Very good English language skills


Professional Experience:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in corporate operations or strategy functions, ideally within a global organization and with an understanding of PES
  • Proven experience in managing and executing regional and/or global Rhythm of Business processes
  • Structured and organized working style with strong analytical skills in a highly dynamic work environment.
  • Experience with SAP’s operational processes and a strong network within SAP, especially with the Global Revenue Operations (GRO)


Ecosystem Knowledge:

  • Solid understanding of the organizational structure, processes, and key stakeholders of PES
  • Familiarity with PES's vision, strategic goals, and the unique challenges associated with being an ecosystem organization within a larger corporation


Project Management & Analytics:

  • Demonstrated capability and experience in managing cross-functional projects with virtual teams
  • Expertise in data analysis, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and visually present findings for leadership


Communication & Leadership:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in preparing and delivering presentations to senior leadership
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and foster collaboration across departments
  • Ad-hoc issue resolution and support of executive management with very strong communication skills up to board level.
  • Excellent team collaboration and proactive networking skills.

  • Ability to independently manage multiple projects and set priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • A diligent and conscientious approach, with a focus on delivering results and solving operational challenges
