Private Cloud Finance and Risk organization delivers leading finance applications as part of SAP’s enterprise SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud portfolio. We are a global development organization that works in close collaboration with customers and partners to support superior finance processes and new business models.

What you´ll build

As an associate developer, you will become a part of a diverse, international community. You will have a responsibility for managing parts of the SAP S/4HANA finance applications. Your tasks will focus on maintaining the existing code and bringing and implementing new ideas.

Your tasks will include:

• Understanding and resolving software issues
• Managing the source code for key SAP software
• Making and testing corrections to the source code
• Effective communication to customers and colleagues in English
• Participation on strategic projects (applied AI, incident prevention, system self-healing, etc.)

What you bring

You have graduated in computer science, business informatics, economy, engineering, natural sciences, mathematics or related field. You bring very good analytical and problem-solving skills. No need for former knowledge about SAP products, but it is necessary to keep learning and discovering new things.

Required skills

• Proficiency in at least one OOP programming language such as Python, Java, C# etc. is required
• Quick learning, outstanding analytical and complex problem-solving skills
• Fluency (written & spoken) in English

Preferred skills

• Customer Focus: Ability to provide customer support and maintenance.
• Ability to work with AI tools
• SQL
• Experience with ABAP development
• JavaScript
