WHAT YOU’LL BUILD

We are looking for a Developer who would engineer solutions that meet with SAP’s quality standards. In this role,you will work very closely with Product Managers, Engineering Leads, Software Developers, Designers and Domain Experts, in an Agile working model.

  • Assume responsibility for designing, implementing, testing and deploying applications to support SAP’s Multi-cloud strategy
  • Design Multitenant, Scalable, Fault-tolerant and Secure SaaS based applications
  • Demonstrate Programming expertise in Java and related technologies on SAP Cloud Platform
  • Demonstrate expertise designing microservices
  • Communicate and collaborate professionally with team, stakeholder, customers and partners
  • Embrace responsibility for ensuring high quality in development and maintenance
  • Assume additional technical, organizational or coordination tasks or roles, as required

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 4 - 7 years of experience in software development & strong educational qualifications (bachelor’s degree in engineering or MCA from reputed institutes)
  • Full Stack technical Experience in:
    • Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure back-end services using Java (Spring Boot).
    • Standardize and maintain core Java libraries, parent POMs, and internal SDKs (Spring Boot Starters)
    • Proficiency in container orchestration with Kubernetes and hands-on experience with Azure cloud services
    • Good hands-on knowledge on tools like -Grafana/Kibana/CICD Pipelines, Dynatrace, Unit Testing.
    • Experience in troubleshooting performance & optimization problems including performance-oriented coding
    • Knowledge of UI Libraries and Frameworks (Ext JS etc.), Testing Frameworks and Tools (such as Karma, Mocha, Cucumber etc.) is a plus
    • Familiarity with platform authentication patterns (SAML, SSO, OAuth)
    • Experience in cloud security best practices & compliance requirements
    • Experience in RDBMS (e.g., MSSQL, PostgreSQL)
  • 4+ years of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Azure or GCP) or containerization of micro services and container orchestration solutions, notably Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Strong programming background and excellent technical skills in Design, coding, testing and delivery of secure, scalable, reliable, robust and performant applications.
  • Work in a diverse team with knowledge of agile software development processes and experience with cloud development and delivery processes.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced and changing business environment. Flexibility and adaptability are must haves to be successful in this role.
