What you'll do:

In your role as Private Cloud Automation Engineer, you are enabling the delivery of robust, downtime optimized and highly automated lifecycle management activities operated within Global Cloud Operations (GCO).
You will take ownership of integration scenarios and operational processes considering accelerated growth (RISE with SAP). Focus of your activities will be increasing automation in cloud-like provisioning scenarios along with stabilization improvements to help Operations to reduce manual effort and cost structure (lower TCO) and deliver faster services to our customers.

Following activities will be part of your role:

• Contribute to cloud-like innovation, standardized provisioning and maintenance activities for seamless customer experience
• Optimize and stabilize cloud lifecycle management procedures in a pro-active way leveraging analytical tools and capabilities
• Structure and coordinate activities, action plans incl. requirements engineering, prioritization, and creating aligned timelines for deliverables
• Create and align test plans, support and perform testing/validation and roll-out activities
• Change Management tracking of technical topics in Jira
• Drive issue resolution together with the team and utilizing the expert network
• Support technology-related projects in complex environment
• Manage relationship between different stakeholder groups inside and outside GCO Delivery

What you bring:

• Professional experience as a technical consultant in SAP cloud implementation projects or as technical project lead with customer interaction.
• Professional experience in Cloud Infrastructure, system administration or as technical consultant in SAP Cloud implementation & migration projects
• Strong SAP BASIS and system operations know-how, ideally in multi-cloud environment
• Best practices experience in SAP application / technology / solution (NetWeaver)
• Knowledge in design and structuring of integrated E2E Lifecycle Management Procedures
• Project management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Willingness and experience working in international teams

SAP Global Cloud Operations Services accelerates and simplifies our customers’ business transformation by running their SAP ERP value stack with a world-class level of availability, security & resilience on their preferred cloud infrastructure. This includes Hyperscalers, their own data center, and/or SAP data centers to transform our customers into cost-effective intelligent cloud enterprises.

In this role you drive standardization and automation, and you are an enabler for the operations teams to deliver in time and quality services to our customers. To achieve this, you will interface with a highly professional, global team of experts and architects from various teams inside GCO including the development organization. Further you will be part of strategic projects for introducing new technologies or tools in our environment.
