Job Title: IT Technology Services Senior Specialist

Location: Newtown Square, PA

Purpose and Objective:

SAP America, Inc. seeks a IT Technology Services Senior Specialist at our Newtown Square, PA location to deliver outcomes of assigned projects, and solve complex issues in own area (e.g. cross-functional or cross-country projects), Decisions/solutions can enhance essentially current and future; design and strategy, or enhance complex systems/processes.

Expectations and Tasks:

Represents SAP to customers and communicates clear and conveying processes & policies. Advocates for the end user by having a deep understanding of end user needs, behaviors & usage patterns. Promotes the role of User Experience, thorough understanding of contemporary user-centered design methodologies & practices and ability to integrate those into current and future development efforts. Develops and provides systems, applications, products, and services to optimize/automate business processes, improve work efficiency and provides the expert support in operations. Revises and updates existing programs and provides required documentation. Facilitates the service lifecycle and product lifecycle. For Delivery, acts as a technology expert to: Execute technical feasibility studies / solution reviews; Define / review technical blueprint for internal IT projects; Customize and develop enhancements; Implement the solutions; Provide technical documentation. For Operation, acts as a cross functional technology expert to: Execute and support problem management and continuous improvement; Participate in de-escalation activities; Contribute to the Build to Run engagement; Contribute to the definition of technical standards and frameworks.

Education and Occupational Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:

Experience must involve four (4) years in the following:

• SAP ECC, S/4 HANA and SAP Netweaver;

• Designing and implementing SAP applications and Databases, with focus on High Availability and disaster recovery concepts;

• Finding and fixing problems with load balancers;

• Analyzing ECC, S/4 HANA data footprint, including server downsizing and upsizing;

• SAP Cloud Platform Identity Provisioning; and

• Cloud Administration - Hyperscaler using Azure, AWS, or GCP.

Experience requires at least two (2) years of experience in each of the following:

• Integration between SAP Public cloud solutions (SuccessFactors, Ariba, SAC or BTP) and S/4 HANA.

Travel: Position requires up to 20% domestic or international travel to various and unanticipated client sites.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $125,611 - $200,200. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $133,700 - $227,500. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
