Job Title: IT Technology Services Senior Specialist

Purpose and Objective:

SAP America, Inc. seeks an IT Technology Services Senior Specialist at our Newtown Square, PA location to solve complex issues in own area (e.g. cross-functional or cross-country projects).

Expectations and Tasks:

Design and enhance complex systems/processes. Represent SAP to customers and communicate clear and conveying processes & policies. Advocate for the end user by having a deep understanding of end user needs, behaviors, and usage patterns. Promote the role of User Experience, thorough understanding of contemporary user-centered design methodologies & practices and ability to integrate those into current and future development efforts. Develop and provide systems, applications, products and services to optimize/automate business processes, improve work efficiency and provides the expert support in operations. Revise and updates existing programs and provide required documentation. Facilitate the service lifecycle and product lifecycle. For Delivery, acts as a technology expert to: Execute technical feasibility studies /solution reviews; Define / review technical blueprint for internal IT projects; Customize and develop enhancements; Implement the solutions; and provide technical documentation. For Operation, acts as a cross functional technology expert to: Execute and support problem management and continuous improvement; Participate in de-escalation activities; Contribute to the Build to Run engagement; and Contribute to the definition of technical standards and frameworks.

Education and Occupational Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field of study and six years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field of study and four years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:

Experience must involve four years in the following:

• SAP cloud solutions and integration scenarios of SAP systems with SAC (SAP analytics cloud);

• Evaluating current SAP architecture, identifying weaknesses, and acting on improvement opportunities, and advising customers on technical requirements, constraints and support;

• Business Process automation through RPA (robotics process automation) and RBA (Runbook automation) to enhance operational efficiency and reliability;

• Establishing and maintaining project management standards, processes, and best practices ensuring that projects are executed efficiently on time to the satisfaction of all stakeholders;

• Profiling tools to identify performance bottlenecks including systems, database application layer and provide root cause analysis;

• Agile methodologies - Scrum, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and blended approaches; and

• ITIL frameworks and IT Service Management practices to ensure effective and efficient IT Service Delivery and Support.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $125,611 - $180,756. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $125,611 - $205,200. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
