What you’ll do:

As an IT Security Consulting Expert (In-House) (f/m/d), you will support our growing organization in making security part of everyday business - through consulting services, awareness measures and hands-on support. This includes but is not limited to:
• Assess security controls for internal IT projects and support our IT and Operations teams in implementing security measures and controls for on-premise and cloud technologies.
• Provide hands-on support in security operations, for example in assessing and closing vulnerabilities
• Train and advise employees on new security technologies, best practices and potential security risks
• You will be involved in the development and enforcement of information security policies and procedures.
• By developing guides or presentations, you help making security understandable and practical.

What you bring:
• Multiple years of related professional experience in a IT security role, preferably but not necessarily in consulting.
• Deep understanding of security technologies and strategies for both on-premise and cloud systems.
• Willingness to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics
• In-depth knowledge of IT and operations topics such as networks, hardening and configuration of endpoints, software development and operation.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and offerings
• Very good understanding of current topics in the field of IT security and enjoy keeping your finger on the pulse here.
• Sound knowledge of regulatory standards such as IT-Grundschutz.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Very good communication skills and the ability to convey complex security topics to a non-technical audience.
• Fluency in English and German language - verbal and written
