What you`ll do:

Summary:

This position is an excellent opportunity for a passionate iOS Developer to shape SAP’s flagship mobile application, SAP Mobile Start, and contribute to a fast-paced, innovative development team.

As a developer, you will design, build, and optimize a large native multi-platform app. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, user-centric experiences that follow Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and best practices for native Apple Platform applications.

You will strengthen mobile app development with your expertise in modern mobile technologies, UX, AI (including Apple Intelligence), and the latest Apple frameworks. Own feature implementation end-to-end, provide feedback on future feature design, and ensure scalability and performance across devices.

What you bring:

We are looking for an iOS Developer with strong experience in native mobile app development and SAP technologies, and who fulfills the following role requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience developing for Apple platforms (iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, visionOS) using Swift
• Hands-on experience with SwiftUI, AppIntents, WebKit, and Structured Concurrency
• Proficient in software design patterns (MVVM+C, MVP), multithreading, and memory management
• Experience integrating Apple App Extensions (e.g., Widgets) and following Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines
• Solid understanding of large-scale, highly modularised, mobile app architectures and enterprise-grade performance optimization
• Experience in instrumenting Apple platform apps to gather performance metrics, debug issues, and improve user experience
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Azure DevOps and Fastlane
• Knowledge of SAP BTP SDK for iOS and Fiori for Mobile design principles is an advantage
• Fluent in English; German proficiency is an advantage
