What you'll build

We are looking for a Product Management Specialist who supports business operations in the “Data-as-a-Service” Center of Excellence (CoE).
As a member of the team, you will support the leadership team, selected projects and transformational programs through targeted orchestration, execution, and communication. This includes the day-to-day operations of the business.

Therefore, you need a good understanding of the SAP portfolio, SAP procurement processes as well as a high-level understanding of how data plays a vital part in business processes and supporting systems. You will execute and handle selected 3rd party data purchases.

Your main tasks include:

  • Run the day-to-day business operations
  • Support dedicated programs and projects in scope, budget, and time.
  • Support the communication with all involved parties e.g., procurement, LoBs, in collaboration with selected product management and project teams.
  • Support the product and processes enablement within IDM (Intelligent Data Management) and in dedicated areas
  • Work closely with other PMO, enablement, and communications colleagues in our unit and the neighboring teams

What you bring

  • A background in Business Administration, Computer Science, Technical Engineering, Economics, or related field.
  • +4 years of professional work experience in project management, and/or business operations roles.
  • Knowledge of the current concepts and strategy of SAP
  • Knowledge of SAP’s portfolio
  • Strong operations background in diverse and intercultural teams
  • Very good project management skills
  • Very good English verbally and written, German is appreciated
  • A high drive for execution, you are a motivated self-starter and fast learner
  • A strong team player with a positive can-do attitude is most welcome
  • Procurement / Ariba operations experience is a plus

Our SAP Intelligent Data Management (IDM) unit owns product Management for data, and within IDM, dedicated key players and experts act as Product Experts for Configurable Material, One Customer View, and selected core master data foundation topics around Customer, Material, and Product. We also run a sophisticated data quality framework and a comprehensive, global data operations.
