Role Overview
As the Senior Solution Advisor (SA), you will be working hand-in-glove alongside the sales team on key strategic customer engagements across the EMEA region. This requires orchestration of multi-disciplined teams against an agreed plan for the customer engagement. You will orchestrate appropriate extended team support as required throughout the engagement cycle.
It is expected that you will build strong relationships with our customers main business stakeholders, typically Chief Supply Chain Officers, Chief Operating Officers and other appropriate senior levels.
Creation of strong points of view that describe the business value our SCM portfolio will bring for your customers are a deliverable for each customer engagement. The development of solid mutually agreed customer business cases to support their investments will also be required.
Additionally, you will assist customers in expanding their current SAP footprint to maximize value for their organization.
It is expected that you have a deep knowledge of supply chains, how they operate across multiple industries and what is relevant for the senior customer stakeholders.
Additional role tasks will include;
• Support the Account Team by delivering end to end SAP SCM presentations to both customers and at events to identify and qualify new opportunities and drive adoption and consumption of SAP solutions
• Evaluate account qualification criteria to determine further investment in pursuing opportunities
• Establish yourself as a thought leader within the account team and fine-tune account strategy
• Collaborate with the team in creating overall themes and competitive differentiation
• Be involved where appropriate in vigorous dry runs on strategic deals and customer engagements
• Build relationships with our SAP eco-system implementation partners and SAP services teams
• Engage with customers to continue selling the vision of SAP solutions and help secure contract renewals
• Leverage digital assets throughout the customer engagement, including demos, presentations, and other content
What you bring:
• 10–15 years of professional experience in large software/IT organizations, ideally in enterprise applications and strategic, customer-facing engagements
• At least 5+ years of proven SAP experience, with strong exposure to SAP Supply Chain solutions and transformation programs
• Strong planning expertise (priority focus) with solid knowledge of planning processes and operating models (e.g., demand planning, supply planning, S&OP and IBP-like processes)
• Deep Supply Chain domain understanding across industries, including the business implications of decisions spanning manufacturing, logistics, and asset & service operations
• Ability to build executive-level points of view, translate business priorities into outcomes, and contribute to mutually agreed business cases supporting customer investments
• Working knowledge of Cloud, Hosted Services, and SaaS/PaaS models in a B2B environment, with the ability to position credible adoption paths
• Strong awareness of competitor solutions in the supply chain space (and the ability to articulate differentiation clearly
• Consultative and communication strength: executive conversations, workshops, discovery, storytelling, objection handling, and effective solution demonstrations
• Energy, presence, and professionalism in customer interactions; ability to orchestrate extended teams with structure and accountability
• Languages: Mandatory French native-level (or near-native equivalent proficiency) and business-fluent English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
