Executive Communications for a Member of the Executive Board of SAP SE (f/m/d)

YOUR FUTURE ROLE

  • Write speeches and talking points for various target audiences (internal and external), create content and work with an external designer to develop the respective visuals.
  • Plan, write, coordinate and execute keynotes for the Member of the Executive Board, incl. content alignment and coordination with demo teams and/or customers.
  • Deliver clear briefing documents incl. talking points for media and analysts in close collaboration with the respective internal teams.
  • Create content for and draft scripts for employee communications such as meetings, emails and videos.
  • Create content for and draft social media posts, incl. alignment with customers and/or other comms teams where required.
  • Apply innovative techniques and creative ways to tell stories and determine the best way to engage with media, analysts, influencers, and employees.
  • Monitor and analyse communication activities to inform decision-making.
  • Ensure the executive communications programs operate at the highest level of efficiency and accountability.
  • Devise and maintain systems, processes, and workplans to enable the team to consistently meet goals and deadlines.
  • Be an expert on recent market trends, news, and industry research to proactively provide recommendations for forward-thinking content development.
  • Deliver highest quality in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Highest level of confidentiality and integrity is needed.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Masters degree with focus on communications, political science, economics or related field.
  • 5+ years' of work experience in communications.
  • Languages: Excellent English and German (spoken and written).
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in both German and English.
  • Proven track record of keynote preparation and speechwriting.
  • Strong ability to deal competently and professionally with confidential and sensitive topics.
  • Experience of working with top and senior management.

ABOUT THE TEAM

Global Communications (GC) is responsible for SAP's corporate reputation, executive communications, and corporate social responsibility. The team develops strategic messaging and corporate content and engages with key audiences.

The role of Executive Communications is to enlist the top leaders of SAP in the tactics of communication to achieve and build credibility. We do this by becoming trusted advisors to the Executive Board, working as integrators across GC and SAP to develop the stories and key messages that help individual Board members build authenticity as champions of SAP’s reputation and strategy.
