What You'll Build
As Enterprise Architect, you will work closely with various stakeholders from business initiatives, including C-level executives, to understand the needs, define the requirements and translate these into sustainable IT architecture(s) and roadmaps.
You will collaborate with IT delivery units and IT Product Owners to ensure these architectures translate into live solutions.
Furthermore, you will help organize the group's operations by:
- Working in decision-making bodies.
- Creating architecture models.
- Creating communication for architecture vision and guardrails.
- Supporting architecture governance and operational excellence.
Our team is organized by business domains, with each architect acting as expert for one or more domains.
You will also contribute to:
Software Product Testing
- Extensive experience in software product testing across multiple SAP products and technology stacks, including web, cloud, and enterprise applications.
- Designing and executing functional, non-functional, integration, and UX testing strategies.
- Validating complex cross-product workflows and ensuring seamless interoperability across heterogeneous systems and platforms.
Testing & Automation
- Working with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG).
- Building and maintaining CI/CD-integrated testing pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Applying performance, security, and reliability testing using tools such as JMeter, Gatling, and OWASP ZAP.
Architectural Design & Strategy
- Designing and implementing enterprise-level architectures across complex, multi-geography environments.
- Defining and enforcing architectural standards, best practices, and governance models.
Collaboration & Communication
- Communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Working closely with business leaders, engineering teams, and external vendors to deliver innovative technology solutions.
What You Bring
- 2+ years of practical experience as an IT Architect / Enterprise Architect.
- Practical experience with SAP applications and technologies including SAP Business Technology Platform and SAP ABAP Platform.
- Broad knowledge of modern IT technologies.
- Significant experience driving initiatives across SAP organizations.
- Proven ability to define and execute strategic directions with a results-oriented mindset.
- Strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate complex problems into actionable plans.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Fluent written and spoken English; German is a plus.
- SAFe and TOGAF certifications are a plus.
- Experience in testing tools consolidation and test script migration is a plus.
- Deep technical expertise, adaptability, and the ability to balance strategic architecture with hands-on technical leadership.
