The Opportunity

Join SAP’s elite Data Management & Landscape Transformation (DMLT) team as a Project Lead and Consultant. You’ll spearhead complex data migration and transformation projects for SAP’s most strategic customers, combining hands-on technical expertise with strong project leadership to deliver business-critical system transformations.

What You’ll D

Project Leadership:

  • Lead and manage the DMLT workstream within large-scale SAP transformation projects, ensuring scope, timeline, quality, and budget targets are met.
  • Drive stakeholder management across SAP, customer, and partner teams, keeping clear communication and alignment.
  • Manage project scope, change requests, and dependencies with formal customer signoffs at key milestones.
  • Oversee risk, issue, and escalation processes while coordinating with Solution Architects and global delivery teams.

Technical Execution:

  • Configure and use SAP DMLT tools for complex data migration and transformation activities.
  • Perform system and feasibility analyses for transformation scenarios including mergers, carve-outs, and selective data transitions.
  • Design best technical architecture using the DMLT portfolio and latest SAP technologies.
  • Lead customer workshops to validate designs and translate technical solutions into business value.

What You Brin

Content Focus (ideally 3 to 5 topics mentioned below):

Core Experience:

  • 3-7 years in SAP consulting with proven project management or delivery of data migration and transformation projects.
  • Strong understanding of SAP system landscapes, data migration approaches, and transformation methodologies, ideally within S/4HANA transition programs.
  • Hands-on involvement in leading project workstreams or full projects, preferably in multi-country or large-scale SAP transformation initiatives.
  • Strong familiarity with project management standards (scope, planning, risk, issue, and change management) and the ability to translate them into practical execution.
  • Experience with SAP migration tools and methods like Migration Cockpit, Data Services, Migration Workbench or equivalent is a strong plus.
  • High level of Business Process understanding across Finance, Logistics, or HR domains.

Leadership Qualities:

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with ability to engage C-level executives and technical teams.
  • Demonstrates an analytical approach with experience in managing complexity and identifying potential risks.
  • Emotional intelligence to navigate different personalities and manage conflicts and self-motivation.
  • Initiative-taking with high ownership and accountability in dynamic, global environments.
  • Skilled in active listening and managing group dynamics, with strong organization and time management to keep sessions productive and on schedule
  • Willingness to travel (10-30%) across EMEA and occasionally international.

Languages

  • English mandatory, excellent ability needed.
  • German is a plus.
  • Spanish excellent ability desired.
  • Portuguese ability desired.
