Job Description

SAP iXp Intern Business Transformation Intern

What You'll Build

The SAP Internship Experience Program is SAPs global, strategic, internship program that provides university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers. This is more than an internship; its the foundation for a career built on bond, creativity, and impact.

Position title: SAP iXp Intern Business Transformation Intern

Location: Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam

As a Business Transformation Intern, you will support global transformation initiatives within the Adoption and Consumption Practices & Platform team. Working closely with your project lead, you will help evaluate business challenges, improve existing ways of working, and design scalable processes and solutions across multiple stakeholders and workstreams.

Your responsibilities will include analyzing current processes, identifying pain points and opportunities for simplification, standardization, and automation, and helping translate these into future-state processes, frameworks, playbooks, and more.

Data and reporting will be an important part of the role. You will work with business and operational data to track key metrics, identify trends, and generate insights that support decision-making. This may include consolidating and analyzing data, developing reports and dashboards, and translating findings into clear recommendations for stakeholders.

You will also support transformation initiatives from design through execution by gathering business requirements, coordinating stakeholders, and contributing to field readiness through enablement and communications.

Through this work, you will gain exposure to large-scale global programs spanning multiple functions and regions and learn how transformation initiatives are analyzed, designed, implemented, and measured within a global organization. You will collaborate with stakeholders across functions and time zones while receiving regular guidance and mentorship from your manager and project leads.

What You'll Bring

We are looking for someone who makes effort, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

Educational & Experience Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Information Systems, Data/Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field (preferably in 2nd year or 3rd year)

Available to work full-time for the full 6-month internship duration

Exposure to business transformation, process improvement, data analysis, operations, or project work is an advantage

Technical and Functional Skills

Deep written and verbal English communication skills

Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure complex or ambiguous topics

Comfortable working with data and spreadsheets, including organizing, analyzing, and interpreting data to identify trends and insights

Ability to translate analysis into clear presentations, reports, and recommendations

Awareness with process mapping, project management, reporting, or dashboarding is an advantage

Comfortable using common productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation tools, documents)

This role is designed for a motivated intern with strong foundational skills rather than deep prior experience. Training, guidance, and mentorship will be provided. We value curiosity, analytical thinking, adaptability, and initiative over perfect technical proficiency, and encourage candidates who meet most but not necessarily all of the requirements to apply.

Where You Belong

Be part of SAP Next Gen, a global community for students, universities, schools and educational partners, who are passionate about innovation and technology.

Culture of Collaboration: Partner with experienced SAP colleagues and expert mentors who will support your growth. Grow professionally through personalized mentoring, coaching, and career development support.

Project-driven Experience: Kickstart your career with hands-on learning experience, making an impact from day one by contributing to meaningful projects that help the world run better. Youll have endless learning resources at your fingertips and gain future-ready skills from a variety of virtual, in-person, and hybrid learning sessions, cultivated just for you, and aligned with our learning approach.

Gain Visibility: Build relationships with leaders and peers across teams and functions. Showcase your ideas, skills, and creativity in a global, fast-paced environment. Open doors for future career opportunities within SAP and beyond.
