Digital Sales Development Associate

Job Profile

The Digital Sales Development Associate (SDE) plays a critical role in guiding and influencing customers to make informed decisions in the early stages of their digital transformation journey. Through digital-first, multi-touch engagement, the SDE delivers a world-class customer experience while driving early-stage pipeline creation and customer engagement.

The role is responsible for building, qualifying, and nurturing sales pipeline and incremental revenue in close alignment with Sales and Marketing teams. The SDE focuses on prospecting into both Net New Name (NNN) and SAP install-base accounts, nurturing leads into qualified opportunities within the assigned territory, and ensuring high-quality digital engagement with potential customers.

In this role, you will continuously develop strong business acumen, industry understanding, and consultative selling skills while supporting customers at the beginning of their cloud and digital transformation journey.


Key Responsibilities and Tasks


Account & Opportunity Management
• Guide and influence customers in the early stages of their digital transformation journey through consultative conversations
• Secure and qualify new customer meetings, ensuring smooth handover of qualified opportunities to the field sales organization
• Review stalled or aging pipeline opportunities and support deal progression through the sales funnel
• Maintain high data quality and perform account whitespace analysis to identify focus areas and growth opportunities

Demand Generation & Pipeline Development
• Plan and execute digital-first, multi-touch demand generation activities across SAP’s portfolio and solutions
• Manage a defined territory in close alignment with Account Executives
• Collaborate closely with AEs, Marketing, Partners, and Solution Advisory teams to generate new business and support opportunity progression
• Provide deal progression support using creative digital tactics

Experience and Language Requirements


Functional Experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Demand Generation, Inside Sales, or a related environment
• Comfort discussing business challenges and industry-specific topics with customers, including CxO-level stakeholders
• Experience or strong interest in cold calling, cold emailing, and digital prospecting
• Ability to analyze customer business challenges and recommend relevant next steps
• Proven ability to manage priorities against weekly, monthly, and quarterly KPIs
• Familiarity with demand generation and sales tools such as Outreach, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
• Ability to execute digital-first, multi-touch sales motions in a fast-paced environment
• Working knowledge of Cloud technologies in B2B environments is a plus
