You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.

YOUR TEAM

In Brno, you will be part of the SAP Labs Network — research and development locations that build and improve SAP core products. With 20 labs in 17 countries, SAP Labs drive thought leadership globally as well as in their local ecosystems, allowing SAP to innovate, grow, and succeed. The Lab in Brno operates across major development areas including Globalization Services, S/4HANA Finance, and Application Innovation Services.

The GTS Localization team in Brno is responsible for developing and maintaining country-specific legal compliance solutions within SAP S/4HANA. We ensure that SAP's global customers remain compliant with local financial regulations, customs, export/import processes, and tax requirements across diverse geographies. You will shape the technical direction of cutting-edge localization features powered by modern cloud and AI technologies, and act as the top technical authority for GTS Localization globally.

WHAT YOU'LL BUILD

  • Set technical strategy and architecture for AI-native localization solutions across SAP S/4HANA Cloud and On-Premise
  • Lead the design and delivery of the most complex, cross-component GTS engineering initiatives
  • Pioneer AI innovation — evaluate, prototype, and embed emerging AI and agentic capabilities into GTS products and engineering processes
  • Represent GTS in SAP-wide engineering forums, external technology communities, and senior customer advisory engagements
  • Build, mentor, and develop senior technical talent across the global GTS engineering community

WHAT YOU BRING

Must-Have:

  • 10+ years of professional software development experience with deep, proven expertise in OO ABAP, RAP, CDS/VDM, and SAP S/4HANA architecture
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or master's degree in Artificial Intelligence or equivalent; advanced degree is an advantage
  • Exceptional English communication and executive presentation skills; ability to influence decisions at senior stakeholder, leadership, and customer level
  • Proven track record of defining technical strategy, leading complex cross-organizational projects, and delivering measurable business impact
  • Deep mentoring and talent development skills; demonstrated ability to elevate engineering capability across global, multicultural teams
  • Extensive experience with Agile/SAFe engineering practices, DevOps pipelines, and enterprise-scale quality automation
  • Ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy and create impact across organizational boundaries in a global environment
  • Well versed / Hands-on: agentic engineering, agentic orchestration, AI assessment, AI governance operations, application security, cloud architecture, CI/CD, context engineering, and AI output quality assurance

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with SAP BTP architecture, AI Core, Generative AI Hub, and LLM orchestration frameworks at enterprise scale
  • Knowledge of building and using MCP servers, Knowledge Graphs, and advanced RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures
  • Deep knowledge of SAP GTS domains: customs, export/import, legal compliance, and financial processes
  • Experience with MLOps, AI evaluation frameworks, benchmarking pipelines, and responsible AI governance practices
  • Published thought leadership, patents, or open-source contributions in enterprise AI or SAP technologies
  • SAP certified architect or equivalent enterprise architecture certification

BENEFITS WE PROVIDE
