About SAP Labs Network and SAP Labs Vietnam

SAP Labs Network is the global R&D setup where over 55,000 engineers around the world create, operate and support the most innovative enterprise solutions for SAP’s customers worldwide. SAP Labs Vietnam aims to become one of the key locations within the SAP Labs Network to support the engineering growth for SAP.

What you’ll do

As a Development Architect, you will work with Product Managers, UX Designers, Developers and Quality Engineers in an agile scrum environment to accelerate innovations for Supply Chain Command Center and expand the SAP Business Network. You will have the opportunity to work on complex business problems and build solutions on the SAP Business Technology Platform with Java, SAP CAP/CDS, SAP Fiori Elements, SAP UI5, and SAP HANA.

To succeed in this position, you must be able to:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain microservices in the cloud (think 24x7x365, millions of users, terabytes of data)
• Have high standards on usability, scalability, resiliency, and security and hold the same standards for fellow engineers.
• Demonstrate strong technical, business, and methodological leadership.
• Support chief-architect and provide feedback to management on technical feasibility and architectural implication on product and business.
• Proactively drive, discuss and collaborate with architects in other teams.
• Be a hands-on engineer to drive implementation of features and Troubleshoot/Resolve critical issues.
• Internalize business requirements and solve them with beautifully engineered solutions.

What you bring

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience working on cloud-based or on-demand software solutions.
• Excellent OOD, Java, and SQL skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Experience in developing scalable, cloud based micro-services with agile development mind-set.
• Experience with REST/XML/JSON, Kafka, Spring Boot, Maven, Jenkins, GitHub.
• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker etc.
• Experience with SAP technologies such as BTP, CAP/CDS, Fiori Elements/UI5, Kyma, HANA, S4/HANA a plus but not required.
• Domain knowledge in Supply Chain a plus but not required.
• Experience with data pipeline using Azure Databricks or comparable technology is a plus but not a must.
