What you´ll build
Summary We are looking for a Data Privacy Expert for Product and Engineering area, who will support the Data Privacy processes across our products to strengthen the Data Privacy posture.In your role as DPP Expert you will coordinate with relevant stakeholders across all aspects of applicable EU, and other regional and local data protection laws and regulations. Expertise in data protection compliance and good knowledge in cybersecurity is required to assist in managing complex issues around the globe. The Role
- Consult in data protection reviews of product functionalities and DPP requirements based on EU and other regional and local data protection laws
- Coordinate communication and document review with appropriate stakeholders
- Partner with business, IT, and engineering teams to help implement data protection controls, and evangelize data protection best practices
- Support DPP related controls and audits
- Assist with negotiation and review of contractual clauses relating to data protection with external parties
- Support with requests around data protection requirements and help with contract reviews and if required participate in customer calls
- Participate in centrally driven DPP initiatives
- Work with the team to assess and respond to potential data protection risks and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA)
- Assist leadership in definition and achievement of KPI in cooperation with Management
- Support internal and external audit including follow up activities
- Good knowledge about AI (e.g. EU AI Act) and its impact on privacy processes
- Raise awareness of data protection compliance on management level
What you bring
- 5+ years of Data Privacy experience
- Deep knowledge in Data Protection and GDPR
- Knowledge about legislation process and data transfer
- Understanding of technologies related to data protection and privacy
- Experience with EU Cloud of Conduct, ISO 27701 and ISO27001 is a plus
- At least one privacy certification (e.g. CIPP/E, CIPP/M or CIPT) is a must
- Good ability to analyze changes in local laws and provide gap analysis and support local implementation projects
- Strong ability to understand the correlation between compliance and DPP and other information security topics
- Experience with DPP obligations towards AI development
- Willingness to support with customer communication
- Experience with contractual terms and conditions
- Fluent in English
- Customer relations and sales collaboration experience
- Good team-working skills and ability to work in an international environment
- Your communication skills allow you to present confidently in expert forums.
- You recognize the value of automating processes and leveraging AI to enhance process efficiency and apply it in your daily work.
